Uses for All in One Clamps

The E. Emerson clamps work well for making all types of jigs for table saws, band saws, drill presses and router tables.
I make small boxes and needed a 45 degree jig to hold boards at an angle to my table saw top. It is far easier to mount the board at an angle than to crank the blade back and forth. I use this jig when I miter box corners larger than will fit under my sliding radial blade or when I am working with smaller pieces that put a blade too close to my fingers. The combo clamps are just the thing for this. The face down side clamp holds to the jig and the face up side holds the work against a guide.
I also use one on my drill press to allow me to drill concentric holes, straight lines of holes and keep pieces from spinning when using large fostner bits.
I have another of thse clamps on my band saw to hold a home made fence for re-sawing boards. It is easy to reset and when flipped to the full hold position doesn't move.
Finally, I use one on a simple router table. The table is just the router mounted beneath a two foot square board with a straight bit protruding through a center hole. The table has a 2x4 attached to one side this 2x4 is used to secure the table in my wood vise. The all in one clamp gives me a great straight edge and works like a charm to miter in hinges on the back side of lids and bottoms. I can set it up to do the outside edges of both hinge cuts for the bottom and the top then reset it for the inside edges of the hinges and the top and bottom miters match exactly when the box is assembled.
I keep making time saving jigs using these handy clamps. They're great.
I love these

I have four All in One clamps: 12", 24", 50", and 99", and I love them. The tape measures aren't accurate but I don't care because I only use these as straight edges that clamp onto the work piece, and they work great for that. I use them with both my router and my circular saw. Great phone support as well if you need to call them.
Note that the part that slides requires you to push it up against the work piece until you hear or feel a "click" for the clamp to grip. It's not obvious and some people think the clamp is defective when it doesn't grip for them.
These go on sale from time to time, so if you don't need one immediately, you may want to put it in your cart and wait for it to go on sale.
Bad Quality

I own the 50" version of this clamp. I returned this clamp because I received a used one. At that the clamp did not tighten up. The guide edge had imperfections and was not TRUE.
Very good clamp - needs some instructions.

This clamp was purchased to replace a VERY similar item that needed no explanation as to it's operation. I had to access the manufacturers web-site (where they actually show a Click lock demonstration)to find out that the item wasn't defective as originally thought. This information is not included on the product packaging nor anywhere inside. Otherwise performs as advertised. Would have given it a rating of five had this feature's operation been explained on or in the packaging. All in One Clamp A-24 24-Inch Grip Clamp Guide w/T-track
Super acurate

I just used this clamp to rout a dado in 3/4 inch birch plywood. It held firm and square and made beautifully straight grooves.
