LOOOOOVVVEEE This Car.

I have 2 boys. My oldest(now almost 8) got the yellow corvette for his 4th birthday. My youngest who is 4,just got a power wheels kawasaki 4whlr. The corvette has been an excellent toy that has held its value, still looks great, and functions perfectly. We just replaced the two rear wheels after amost 4 years!! The fourwheeler already has holes in the two rear tires, its just 3 months old and is labeled as Kawasaki Brute Force???
All the kids in the neighborhood love the vette! It is a good product that will perform and be reliable for around $ 299.

I bought one of these for the kids a few years ago.. nothing but fun and had no problems... purchased extra battery to charge while other in use... adds a lot of fun up time.. have followed instructions and cared for it and have had absolutely no problem.. wish I had one when I was a kid..
Don't ever buy this car.

I bought this car last year and I am extreamly frustrated with this. It looks great but lasted hardly a month that too every time for 5-10 mins and slows down.Then there was winter and I didn't pay attention why it didn't work.This year I ordered for the replacement bettery and still waiting...it's almost 2 months and they don't have it in there warehouse and you can't find the bettery anywhere else like you can find for other bettery powered toys..very disappointing.Don't buy this car.

My son loves his Yellow Corvette. He's almost six. Santa delivered it Christams two years ago and was kind enough to supply an extended warranty through Toys R Us. Well after a year and a half of hard use (wrecks, running over curbs,etc.) the suspension broke. I took it to the repair center provided by the warranty. They kept it two months "waiting on parts" and finally I picked the car up and took it to Toys R Us and explained my frustration to the understanding manager. Gratefully, he replaced the car. Now, our second car has bad battery. It's probably my fault since I did not charge it for 24 hours before we used the car (my son couldn't wait). So, we're going to order a new battery $68.95 plus tax and shipping, which will be about 1/3 of the cars original cost of $249. However, I would buy another one. They're a great value when I consider the almost-daily use and the fun and enjoyment my son has. He's the envy of the neighborhood and all the girls like to go for rides. I guess he's a little too young to consider it a "Chick Magnet", but that's what it is!

bought for Christmas present for my 4 year old....had problems the first day he rode it. Worked fine for about 20 minutes then shut off. Thought it might be battery so charged it some more worked for about ten minutes or so then quit. Called safety first and they sent me a replacement battery plug and the gas pedal. Installed and worked for a couple days then stopped working only to start working in reverse only! At this point the dissapoinment in my sons eyes, I have no choice but to get rid of it! Only purchase if you are looking for a nice yard decoration as that is what it is good for, or if your looking for a little extra stress in your life.
Safety 1st does not make a reliable car at all and there customer jerk around I mean service leaves something to be desired.
I only gave 1 star because I had to but honestly it would be 0 stars with the possiblilty of going negative.

Bought this car from Toys-r-us. Assymbled and charged (16+hrs) my kids rode it for about 40 feet then dead. Dad and kids disappainted. Luckily store accepted it for return and full refund. Got another toy, different brand, worked great... kids and dad happy again. Don't waste your money/time on this product.

MY grandson loved his Yellow Corvette and he keeps asking when will it work. I can't get anyone to install recall kit but not sure that will help since it stopped running. Company gives me address of other companies that no longer do the work with Dorel. I have $300 investment and a very unhappy grandson. That makes me very unhappy. I spend alot of money on this child but no more with this company. What gripes me is I saw a lady walking out of Toys are Us a few weeks ago with one even though they have been recall and there are alot of unhappy customers.

I went threw two of these cars. Both only lasted 10 days. The battery doesn't hold a charge. My son and I were VERY dissapointed because he really liked it and it never worked. So I took it back on got a Cadillac escalade. And it works great.

i bought this for my 3 year old at the store. In the first week that i had it, it had spent more time back at the store trying to be fixed, than it had at my house with my son riding on it. I went and bout a power wheels brand instead, they are more reliable.

We also bought for christmas and used it 5 times tops. Then it broke and we waited around for 2 months for them to send us a spare part. This part they sent did not solve the problem. They did refund us 100% of the money in exchange for the circuit board. Now I have this car in my garage, trying to get rid of it.
