Amazing 2008-05-17
Fellowes WIRELESS KEYBOARD USB BLACK ( 59493 )

I have had & used two other wireless keyboards. 1st a Microsoft which croaked after the batteries died and when I replaced them and reset it both the keyboard and mouse no longer worked. Microsoft did not honor the warranty so I would never buy this product from them again.

Next I purchased a more expensive Logitech Wireless Keyboard and Mouse which again worked until the batteries died. I replaced the batteries in keyboard and reset it and again it no longer worked. I called there helpdesk and was connected to someone in some foreign country who barely could speak English who was rude and insolent to me and they did not honor the warranty either.

So this led me to buying the current Fellowes keyboard I have from Amazon. This keyboard has been an Amazing Godsend to me. This has way more features then either of my other two keyboards did plus it has an ergonomic attachable wrist rest which is the perfect height. I had no problems connecting this or installing the software. Also there are no problems when the batteries die and putting in new ones the unit still works which is the way these products are supposed to be designed.

i hate keyboards 2008-04-23
i just received mine today. and none of the lights on the keyboard come on. i cant tell if i have num lock on or off, kinda sucks. also, the constant flickering of the receiver is very annoying

So far so good 2008-04-04
If your needs are simple like mine and you just want a cordless keyboard that will let you control you computer from afar, this is perfect. The setup was easy, there aren't too many special keys, the key response is not to sensitive or too clunky and you don't have to assign special functions to the top row of control keys, they just do what they're supposed to do. I hate when you have to program what a button will do and I hate keyboards with all kinds of unnecessary lights and I really hate overly-sensitive keys that enter whenever you barely brush over or lightly press them. The price can't be beat, a great buy!

My favorite keyboard - ever! 2008-02-28
OK I just plugged it in and it works perfectly without the included device driver, which I'm getting ready to install in a minute. But I just wanted to type something on it, so here we are!

First off, this is just like a desktop keyboard, which is just what I needed. All the keys are in the exact same familiar location. My old wireless keyboard, had the keys in all different places, and it seriously slowed me down. Now, I can work wirelessly, and have my arrow keys, home, end, pageup, pagedown, and a full number pad, just like when I'm on my desktop.

I like how you get to buy this keyboard independently of a mouse, so you get to choose your mouse yourself. I use a Logitech laser mouse, the V450, and it runs right on the uphostery of my couch without a mousepad (it's better than optical!). I really like this setup for web browsing from the couch or recliner.

My old Microsoft wireless keyboard used 4 AA batteries. This one, the Fellowes, only needs 2, so a plus for the environment. I also love how this keyboard feels when you touch the keys. It has a soft clicking noise, not too loud, and not too hard for my fingers to press down. Fellowes pretty much hit the nail on the head with this wireless keyboard, and I give it my highest score, 5 stars.

Does everything i need it to do 2007-12-26
This wireless keyboard works perfectly. It also has a very long range upwards of 20 feet, which is useful for people using a tv as a monitor.

Wireless keyboard 2007-01-11
I received the Fellowes wireless keyboard today. Set-up is a breeze. I love all the multifunction keys. I have been searching for a wireless keyboard for a long time. What a delight to find this one. It serves all my needs very nicely.

great for cut-copy-paste 2007-01-09
I do a lot of work on the computer that involves a lot of cut, copy and pasting between documents.
I recently bought a new computer. My old one was an e-machines. The old e-machines came with a non wireless keyboard that had 3 cut, copy, and paste buttons on the left side of the keyboard. I have found them invaluable in the tedious copy-paste operations I do in my every day work.

I was extremely disappointed to find that the e-machines keyboard buttons didn't work on the new computer, despite installing the proper drivers. I went searching for a replacement keyboard of any type or brand that had cut-copy-paste buttons anywhere on the keyboard. That is very hard to find for some strange reason.

Imagine my surprise and delight when I came across this keyboard. It has EXACTLY the same configuration as the old keyboard. It looks exactly the same in every way except it is wireless. I'm sure it must have been manufactured by the same company e-machines used.

The new keyboard works great. If you do a lot of copy and paste, this is the keyboard for you!
