Parents spoiled by the "family music" phenom--those who have come to expect that the music they buy for their kids will appeal to them as well--will be disappointed in Mommy & Me's "Playgroup Favorites." However, the CD does have its strengths--Mommy & Me veterans and current attendees will be instantly prepared to sing along with the first two tracks, "Mommy & Me" and "Shake My Hand," and the rest are no-brainers: graspably goofy renditions of "B-I-N-G-O" and the like. Suggested activities--moderate movement for some songs and aerobic cool-downs for others--make following the musical playgroup agenda at home a breeze, and the split-track format (the second half of the CD is an instrumental repeat of the first) keeps the floor-based fun going strong long after everybody has hugged themselves goodbye during "Take My Hand." --Tammy La Gorce

Sooo Much Fun!!!

My grand-daughters 3 & 1 1/2 play this daily and sing and dance together. They have both the CD & DVD, both a lot of fun. They also have many others but this is by far their favorite. It is just so delightful to sit back and watch them, it brings a big joy to your heart. For anyone with kids, this should be a must have.

Fun for toddlers!

We already had the dvd, so I purchased the cd for the car for sing-alongs. Great for toddlers!

Mommy and Me are great!

I love the Mommy and Me CDs! Both are great and my baby loves them both!
I would hightlly recomend buying these!

A good collection of classic songs. My son is 17 months old and has loved this (and the More Playgroup Favorites) since he was an infant. Highly recommend!

Wonderful album for playgroups & parent-child fun!

This album is amazing. I love the modern arrangements of classic childhood songs. This album is PERFECT for playgroups, playdates, parties, and just at-home fun. Not only is the music sensational, but it is a great tool for focused time between parent and child. Parents cherish the time they spend with their young children, and they welcome tools like these CDs to help them make the most of the experience. LOVE THIS CD!

My 2-year-old daughter, Emily, and I have the BEST time
while listening to the Mommy and Me Playgroup Favorites CD
going full blast!

The songs are fantastic! They are the classics,
like "Itsy Bitsy Spider," with a new fresh twist.

We especially love "The Grand Old Duke of York"
(with a fun fifties spin), "A Sailor Went to Sea, Sea, Sea,"
and of course "The Wheels on the Bus."

The new lyrics by Marty Panzer are whimsical, original,
and so much fun for moms and kids to enjoy together.

When we're in the car, my daughter actually cries when I turn the engine off, she just doesn't want the music to stop!

We're looking forward to hearing this CD for a long time to come!
