While the Robot Systems Technology Branch at NASA's Johnson Space Center continues to develop its humanoid Robonaut, one NASA scientist has worked to take many of the same basic capabilities and introduced Robosapien! Robosapien is a full function, programmable, fast moving robot controlled by wireless remote control. High-tech but easy to use, Robosapien features: Real multi-speed fast dynamic walking, running, and turning. Fast, full function arms with two types of grippers.67 pre-programmed functions including pick-up, throw, kick, sweep, dance, fart, belch, rap, and half-a-dozen different kung-fu moves. Speaks fluent international "caveman. Programmable "reflexes" to touch, pickup, kicks, or sound. Up to 84 program steps, with 4 program modes for advanced operations. No computer required, all functions handled by ergonomic remote control. Runs on regular batteries (not included) for over 6 hours. Three demonstration modes: Disco dance, Rude behavior, and Kung Fu Kata. Simple enough for kids, advanced enough for adults, it's like a video game character for the home. Developed by Mark Tilden, a robotics physicist who has worked for NASA, DARPA and JPL through Los Alamos National Laboratory. Hedeveloped the basics for biomorphic robotics in 1988; Robosapien is the first commercially available robot based upon this principle.

A great toy !

My son played with this at a friends house. He is 10yrs and couldn't keep his hands off of it. He got it to do all sorts of things and especially liked when it picked up a small toy and threw it at someone. I bought it for his birthday (Oct 12) wait until he sees it!!!
He will go bonkers!!!!!!!!!!!!

My grandson received this toy for Christmas. With the help of friends, it was broken in 2 weeks. He wanted another terribly, so I got this for his birthday. He plays with it, and it is still working nicely. My grandson is 7 years old.

Great Little Robot - my kids love it.

I have wanted one of these since they first shipped. Not really in the budget.

When I brought the thing home from a yard sale, my wife gave me that look. Now that the thing has been played with so much, she admits it is pretty cool.

The sounds can be a little annoying, but less than most noise making toys.
My 4 year old can control most of this guys functions perfectly. Good Luck trying to pick things up, but it is still fun to try.

As I said, ours came from a yard sale it has had a pretty hard life since it arrived at our home, (knocked, kicked and dragged by the arm)
It still works great.

Seems to get a reasonable amount of time from batteries.

I bought this for my 9 year old for Christmas, and he loved it! It had more functions than I expected. He took it to a family Christmas party and the adults had a blast with it also! Some one asked him if "Santa" was good to him, and he said "mom was better," because of the Robosapien. Might buy the dinasour next. Better than expected!!

Lot's of fun

I bought this for my 5 year old son and we are having a great time with this. His little sister and younger cousin like to watch it dance - they run around it in circles and clap to the music.

I thought that this would be too much for 5 year old to control but he has learned how to control it and can get it to do several tricks. Overall, this is a great product.

Unfortunately, Disappointed, Expected a different & Great toy!

After receiving the Robosapien (purchased in November) I had wrapped the gift for the Holidays and there was no way of testing this product prior.

Unfortunately, from great expectations the remote does not work, I am still working with the company to come to a resolution on receiving a replacement remote and have gone through a lot of communication, and two months later have not been able to use the toy.

Recommendation: If you plan on giving as a gift, it would be a good idea to open the toy and conduct a simple test to ensure no disappointment occurs.

I bought this for my 7 yr old daughter for Christmas. Im not sure who has more fun, our whole family plays with it and he was the hit at our party on X mas day!! This guy is really cool, he does quite a bit. I highly recommend this robot, its worth every penny!

	Dora the Explorer Mr. Face Plush Backpack Review: My daughter is a big Dora fan and uses this backpack to carry around her favorite toys and books, which is why I gave it 5 stars for educational value. My friend's daughter has it as well, and love hers too. We've had it 6 months now and it's holding up just fine. The map opens up for an added bonus. My daughter likes to wear it and sing the backpack song from the show.
	Star Wars Episode III: Darth Vader Voice Changer Helmet Wow, do I ever wish they had this out when I was a kid! I bought it, and my wife, kids and I have all been playing with it. It has a chest box with several buttons that plays about 5 of Darth's quotes from the movies, or you can switch it to voice changer. The voice changer is fun! It has 3 different levels of depth for changing the voice. ... A must for Star Wars Geeks!!!!
