Great Quality Sound 2009-06-08
This is a great way to play your iPod through virtually any car, and it also keeps the iPod powered. However, I recommend testing out a friend's in your car first, because it works better in certain cars (probably because of the location of the antenna). Bravo!

GOOD product 2009-06-07
Bought this for the new IPOD nano. works very well compared to other products and is reasonably inexpensive. However the one big drawback is it does not charge while playing which makes it a burden to play in the car and then go back home and charge. Overall not a bad product.

Very good signal quality, but has a minor static noise! 2009-05-25
I received my iCarPlay FM Transmitter this past Friday and immediately tried it out, but I was surprised to hear a high pitched static noise right after connecting the device to the 12v jack. It doesn't make the device useless but it does become bothersome. I Don't know if it comes from being connected to the car's energy supply and it sure doesn't come from the iPod or radio waves, but with the music volume high enough, the noise is barely audible. This also only happens when the car is standing still. When driving over 20mph the noise almost disappears (and not just because the engine noise is louder, but it just disappears by itself). Just wanted to make people aware of this, but maybe I'm the only one having it.

But other than that, the sound of the transmission is amazing. Better than any other FM transmitter that I have used, and the fact that it charges my iPod is even better. Plus I can't complain if I got this for 40 dollars cheaper than at Bestbuy.

I would gladly recommend this product to anyone, even with that minor noise issue which can be easily ignored.

Icarplay charger for ipod 2009-05-24
Finally, an adapter that works in my car! I've tried three other versions and non worked with my xterra.

Working great five years later 2009-03-17
I've had the Monster iCar for five years and it has been with me through two different iPods. The only reason I've had to replace mine is because I accidentally cut the cord of my old one. The reception for mine is almost perfect with a few bad spots in town, but nothing to complain about otherwise. I bought my original one for $80 and it was some of the best money I ever spent.

Monster iCarPlay Wireless FM Transmitter/Charger for iPod 2009-01-18
I have owned the iCarPlay wireless transmitter for several years. I ordered one for my husband at Christmas and received the iCarPlay wireless plus instead but both products work great.

It came in mint condition, with a one year warrantee, and it's been working great

Great while it lasted 2008-10-27
I have owned this product for approximately a year and a half. I got it for free from my brother who works for Goodwill Computers. He had previously given me several other ipod fm transmitters that had worked terribly, and I was thrilled when I got this one that not only worked well, but charged my ipod and did not require batteries. I used this charger in many cities throughout Texas and took it on several road trips to New Mexico, Louisiana and one all the way to Mexico City and back and the whole time it worked great with minimal static on occasion. Last week I lent it to a friend for a weekend trip and I believe it may have been yanked around because now it does not seem to have a stable connection with the ipod and isn't picking up channels well. I got online and was shocked to discover that this adapter costs $85 new and while I was pleased with the performance of the product, I have yet to decide if it is worth that much for a year and a half of use.

Not compatible with iPod Touch 2nd Gen 2008-10-23
Followed directions for using the cable. Upon connecting it to my iPod Touch 2nd Gen, the iPod displayed a message that the unit could not be charged. I called Monster and they said Apple revised the interface and I needed to purchase the Monster iCarPlay Wireless 250 instead if I wanted my iPod to charge using the FM transmitter. Will now be going to get this other unit.
