cordless weedwacker---Great!!

This is the easiest weedwacker I've ever used. It won't take down trees, but for the avarage lawn with fences, trees, edging, etc., it's great.
A charge lasts more than I need, and I have a large yard.

OK trimmer for the price, gets the job done. battery last long enough to finish my yard. would be better if it was a two line trimmer. again it gets the job done.
lightweight cordless weed whacker 2008-06-04
This weed wacker is very light weight, but the switch is hard to push and hold in with my right hand. It needs a better switch. Otherwise a great deal. I love the idea of no chord, or gas to bother with. The battery lasted to trim my whole 1/2 acre yard and then some. I have since convinced my friend to buy a similar model, with a longer lasting battery. Since she has more than an acre of land. I hope they redesign the switch for newer models.

This trimmer does a good job for me...but there's a price. I have large hands, but I have some arthritis and I find it very difficult to work the latches that release the battery pack for recharging. Also, the trigger that keeps the power on when using the trimmer is quite short. I find that I must hold it with my index and second finger, and this gets tiring very quickly. I bought this at a store, on closeout. It was in the box and I bought it because it is rechargeable. If I had it to do again, I would check for ease of removing the battery and for comfort of the handle.

I have used this trimmer 3 times since I received it. My home is on a 1/2 acre lot, and this trimmer worked just fine for my purposes. It takes me about 20-30 minutes to do my trimming,and this unit was up to the job. I am a 68 year old who had lots of backpain using the gas trimmer,but not so with this trimmer. Keep in mind this is not for heavy duty trimming, but for light trimming around the yard I would recommend this item.

This trimmer is light, easy to use and though all plastic seems well made. But I found it hasn't the power to trim a 9" path in my lawn or do a good job edge trimming. It might be o.k. for very light applications.
I returned the trimmer to Amazon.

Light weight and good Run Time 2007-08-30
I bought this product at the beginning of the summer and am very pleased with it - powerful, quiet and light weight. I'm 6'2 and being able to adjust the front handle has been a back-saver. While the battery provides plenty of juice to get my yard done - I splurged on an extra 18v battery so I always have 1 battery charging while I'm using the other.
