Didn't live up to my expectations 2007-05-06
Ultimately, I returned this product. It was horribly slow, and it kept crashing on me. I haven't had problems with any of my other Bluetooth devices. Maybe Bluetooth printing technology just isn't there yet, though.

Great solution for printing across the room or outside. 2007-04-28
This product works great. The book said it does not work with all in one printers but I have had no problems. I guess it wont work with the scan and fax functions. It prints just as fast as when corded. I even print from my patio with my laptop.

HI ON PCS 2007-02-02
This product was just what I needed. It gets the job done, slow but it gets done. My only complaint is that I can't figure out how to inbed the passkey, everytime I print a popup message asking for password comes up, it gets on my nervous after awhile.
I'm sure I'll figure it out just before I get a bluetooth ready printer.
Other than that, I would highly recommend this product..

F8T031 does the job 2007-01-10
This unit does a good job, but is not perfect. It was difficult to set up. After a few attempts and with a bit of knowledgeable assistance, it worked. It continues to do so. The range is acceptable, but perhaps a bit shorter than the advertised 33 feet. That's not been a problem, since my alternative locations are probably a bit outside the 33 foot maximum anyway. I use it in an area where I simply couldn't run a printe cable. So ... it works for me and I'd buy it again.

Nice, but a little bit slow 2007-01-09
That is a nice product. I used some days, but works slowly from the Desktop and from my Pocket PC. But anyway is a good solution to print from my Pocket PC from everywhere in my house.

Multifunction printers? 2006-12-21
Hi -
I'm thinking of purchasing this and I was wondering if anyone had tried this with an all-in-one printer. I'd like for the bluetooth to work with the printing function, though I can deal if it doesn't work with scanning and copying.

Thanks

Do not buy 2006-11-07
I am on my second product, having returned the first, and the device worked well for a couple of weeks before failing in the same way the first did -- lights flashing and customer service unsure how to reset the device. Belkin's customer service seems to do their best, and returning products through Amazon is easy, but the product is a dud.

I am using the device with a ThinkPad and HP LaserJet. A rather typical and simple set up.

Works well but slows things down a bit. 2006-09-01
I agree with the previous review about the passkey; it was no where in the documents. I even read the other review before buying but didn't understand what he was talking about. And I didn't remember his review when it came to the time that I needed the passkey. I'm not at all sure how mine is even functioning because I never did enter a passkey. I found the review again when I came back to enter my feedback. Belkin needs to do a better job of getting this info out where the customers can find it. PRINT IT IN THE DOCUMENTS OR PUT THE INITIAL PASSKEY ON THE BOTTOM OF THE DEVICE then allow them to change it if they want.

The device works well but it does slow down my printer. At first I hooked it up to my HP C3140 multi-function (even though Belkin says they won't work properly) and it did significanly slow down its printing. I changed it over to my HP Business Inkjet 2800 and it performs much better. Still slows it down a bit but not nearly as much as the C3140. It's a speed I can live with. I like that I can be in the living room and still print in my office if I find something worth printing; I don't have to be tied to the printer all the time.

Warning: Does Not Work With Apple Computers Of Any Kind 2005-12-28
After wasting almost four hours trying to get this to work on two different Apple OS X computers, I finally gave up and waited three days over the holiday to contact Belkin Tech support. I returned the product after Belkin tech suppport confirmed that this product does not work with Apple computers. So, do not buy this product if you are trying to connect with any Apple computers.
