Very light and small. Works with regular batteries and with one simple touch, you can record up to 5 different measures.
Excellent for family or for individuals who like to be weighted more than once under different events (or clothing).

I am 402lbs,
So believe me when I tell you this scale can handle the weight.
For the price this scale does a great job. no bouncing up and down numbers for five minutes, just step on, and in a matter on five to ten seconds you have your weight. I am single but love the five separate memories. when friends, parents, or family visit, it stores there weight until there next visit. I recomend this scale, it's hard to find one that goes this high and stays accurate even five seconds after the last measurement.

This is the best scale we've ever owned. It accurately displays up to 400 lbs if you need it. It has 5 different memory settings, and is very sturdy and good quality.

Excellent Scale But doesnt like being wet.

It has been a excellent scale.I kept the scale near the shower and the bottom part gets wet sometimes and after I exercise I shower and Weigh myself.

Been using it for the last 3 years with no problems. 2 months ago one day started showing -E- in the display.

Worried I called the tech support and they asked me to ship it back. But being a not a big fan of shipping back stuff I went to work - I stored it at an angle under the sink so that It would dry. Then I forgot all about it. 4 weeks ago I opened the door under the sink there it is sitting. I switched it on - voila - It works. So far good! :-)

An excellent scale with nice features!

Accurate and easy-to-read, this scale is a real help for people who can't get an accurate weight from a standard scale. It also keeps track of your previous weight, so you can follow your progress (or slip-ups!) There are controls for as many as five users, so you don't find yourself jumping from 134 to 397 overnight.

I priced other high-capcity scales, too; this one seems to be the best value by far!

This scale is very accurate (it gives the same weight as my doctor's scale...unfortunately, lol)

Because of the low profile it is easier to get onto the scale with my bad knees and the larger size means that I don't have to do a balancing act while trying to weigh myself. And, unlike other scales I've owned, I don't have to stand in exactly the same place everytime to get the correct reading.

Buy this scale, you won't be sorry.

Good product... could use improvement. 2007-12-05
I had high hopes for this scale, having seen all the wonderful reviews it received, however after using it for nearly a month, I am a little disappointed.

The fact that it can accommodate multiple users is a great feature. Very easy to use. The large platform makes it easy for large people like my husband and I to stand on it securely.

My one complaint is that it hasn't lived up to the expectations I had in terms of accuracy after reading the reviews on this page. If you always weigh in the same place, standing exactly in the same position and on the same spot on the scale... it can be accurate.

I performed some tests over the past few weeks. The measurements varied by as much as 3 lbs taken over the span of a couple minutes. Standing perfectly centered on the middle of the scale with my feet together gave the lowest weight. Separating my feet by three inches made me almost 3 lbs heavier. Keeping my arms to the side of my body versus keeping my hands clasped on my back also gave similar variation. Knowing this, I always weigh in the exact same manner and I have been pleased with the results, but it shouldn't be so fussy.

Overall, it is a good product and obviously some careful thought went into its design, just have to be aware of this problem when you use it.

I was very pleased with this purchase!

I am very tall and weigh just over 400 lbs. Until now, i couldnt find a scale that accepted weights over 340 lbs and were affordable.

This scale is very wide and i have no problems stepping on it. Its also about 1 inch from the floor, so its easier to step on then typical scales.

The scale has 9 large buttons on the front. Each of the 9 buttons can be used to record your weight. So you can have 9 different people keep track of their weight or you can use the 9 buttons yourself to show progress, alternating between each button.

You press one of the buttons with your toe to activate. You step on the scale, it takes a few seconds and then beeps, thereby recording your weight.

It can display weight in pounds or kilo's. It also keeps track of 1 decimal place. For example if you weighed 400 1/2 pound it would read 400.5 lbs.

The best part is that it records your previous weight to compare with your new weight. This has been very helpful for me as it lets me know what i weighed the last time and shows progress (did i lose or gain).

Overall, this is the best scale i have used. Its very large, very wide, easy to use, has a large display screen, is very close to the ground and is perfect for someone like me who is very tall, very large and has difficultly with balance.

Another big guy here (~350lbs) and I concur with what others are saying. Does not take up much space, yet is plenty wide to step on comfortably and even though it is fairly lightweight, it feels very sturdy. Been using it for a month or so and am perfectly happy so far.

In the weigh of this scale (pun noted). This scale for weighing over weight people works great. I've heard other people in my household say that if you weigh yourself more than once at a time the weight varies. Well one, I don't do that, anymore. And two I've known that to happen on other scales, so I know NOT to do that. Great scale overall.
