Great Speakers!

I bought these as a gift for a friend and once I heard them on her computer, I wanted to get them for mine as well. The price had shot back up after my gift purchase, so I waited. I tried Bose instead, they were really poor. Right when the Bose arrived the price temporarily dropped on these - I got them right away and returned the others. I use these with my iMac and the music sounds great - bass is great and I think they really provided stereo quality. Easy to set up, don't take up much space and they look good too.
I'd recommend these to anyone.

I bought this nearly two years ago and it's still working like new. I wouldn't pay $150 for it though! I think I got mine for $70?
They are certainly loud enough for me and the sound quality is good. Easy to set up and very durable (they've been moved around from house to house a lot!). I use the speakers when I need louder music then my laptop can provide or when I want to listen to my mp3 player. You have to be careful when setting the speakers up because if they arent plugged in just right there will be no sound (scary the first time it happens) but be patient and take the time to unplug everything and try again!
The speakers look cool - the green lights underneath the speakers arent terribly bright and I would miss them if they were gone. I always get questions about them when people are over. Would recommend these!

150 bucks! I LITERALLY got these from Amazon for 37.96. I like them but, I certainly wouldn't pay a buck 50 for them, no way.
Amazing PC sound system 2008-01-30
Listening a JBL system is always a pleasure and this system is simply amazing.....wonderful choice for those wanting a quality sound with a great (low) price....I would recommend this system to anyone.....
Big sound for a small budget 2008-01-20
I worked for years in broadcasting, and once owned a recording studio - that doesn't make me an expert, but I have heard some really good (and bad!) audio systems over the years. About the only thing I would do to improve this little gem is to give it another control - so you can adjust the midrange a bit instead of trying to balance treble vs base and still have good mids at varying volume levels. It also seems to me that the base control is labeled backwards. Odd. Otherwise, dollar for dollar, it would be really hard to beat JBL's Creature system. My computer hasn't sounded this good since another system (different brand) was accidentally destroyed. I started top go back to the same system I had, but got a great deal on this one. My old one, admittedly, blew the doors off this one - but it also cost quite a bit more. Yes, you can get a better sound system for your computer or other personal audio player, but most people really would not notice much difference. And you can spend a WHOLE lot more money!

I am now trying to find something to replace it with, since it was the last in stock with WholesaleAV and the product is discontinued. The worst part is that it was a Christmas present...
Great price & quality 2008-01-17
I bought this for my hubby for Christmas, he loves the speaker set. The quality of the music is so much better coming from our PC. The bass especially. It's also such a good brand/quality for the price.
My hubby is very picky & loves anything electronic so if he is happy I AM SURE everyone will be happy w/ this buy.
