This is a great calculator. The TI 84 Silver Edition graphing calculator is by far, the best graphing calculator out there. I use it daily for both my math and chemistry classes in high school. Great product!

My son to who I purchased the calculator for, wrote:

"Exactly what I needed. T1-84 silver is the calculator to get for school,
at least through Calc 1.
You may end up needing to upgrade to a T1 89 equavalent for future classes (like calc 2), but the 89 and its ilk are more expensive
and have a steeper learning carve (or so I've been informed).
If you are familiar with any of the older T1 graphing calcs, this one's super easy to learn and use. Recommended."

I was actually looking for a used calculator for class, but ended up buying a new one for the price of a used one. I got it in the mail just a few days after ordering. The caculator works well. I like the fact that I will be able to use this with a lot of my current and future classes in math and science. I plan on ordering more stuff I need for school from this web site from now on.

I knew this calculator and I have nothing to say about it. I bought it, they sent it to me, etc. What I have to say, is that they were very attentive to the whole process. I received the calculator on time and that was very important to me.

it is good for high school students, but TI's price is too high, because it is officially for school class and SAT test??? how mant pieces they will sell each year. TI should drop the price a lot!

This is an easy to use, quick to learn tool, that makes any mathematical experience pleasant. Although the manual looks daunting, it is very clear on most functions. I mostly use the periodic table on the application list for my science, and then of course, the statistical and graphing functions are a breeze.

Purchased during the holidays for my high school sopohomore daughter for calc classes to replace a ten-plus-year-old TI-82. She loves it and all it does. Also recommend the "TI-84 Plus Graphing Calculator for Dummies" book I purchased along with the calculator so I could understand how it works and make use of it, too.
