Sure foams a lot, but holding is not what it does. 2006-03-01
I followed the directions exactly, dampen one surface, apply to other, clamp for 4+ hours, 100% cured in 24, and in 8 hours when I check on it, all foam and no hold. I could have pulled the fan I tried to glue apart with my pinky. I was using it for plastic on plastic. This stuff doesn't work, overrated junk.

    Stick to it! 2005-09-21
I had seen this product on TV. I had an item, that I loved, get broken & I didn't want to throw it away. I had kept it for several weeks til I saw an ad. I went online & ordered it. I am very pleased to say it worked. My item doesn't look like it was ever broken. Thanks

Caution advised, but usage recommended 2004-11-25
We've used this glue several times now, and it has worked in situations where other glues, even the lauded Superglue, failed. At least one surface to-be-glued must be moistened ahead of time, and this glue, which looks like frothed-up Ovaltine, bubbles and bubbles and expands, and then adheres like all get-out. It is a bit expensive, no matter where you buy it, so it might not be the first glue you want to try, but use it when other glues have been tried and proven themselves unworthy. That has been our experience, thus far. It is hard to get this glue off fingers, so rubber gloves are advisable.

joining wood using gorilla glue 2004-03-15
easy to use, stores well, sandable, stainable, bonds extremely well. a truly excellent product for wood. I am now expanding my uses to other materials and find it excellent also. I highly recommend the product.

    Incredible product! 2007-12-28
I have been using Gorilla Glue as a professional model maker for several months now, and I am happy to report that it surpasses any and all expectations I had for it. I use it to glue resin panels to masonite and fiber board, and it is extraoridnary in that role. I have found that the expanding quality of the glue allows gaps to be forgiven, and have used it in place of wood glue on several projects. Use it sparingly, though, because the expanding nature of Gorilla glue can sneak up on you. It does sand very well, and takes paint well, too. I even used it to put my gutter back in place when it started to fall off of my house... Three months later (in Oregon rain) and it's still holding tight. For smaller projects, I would advise using Gorilla Super Glue, which is simply amazing stuff. I cannot even BEGIN to recommend these glues enough!

    Not an All-Purpose Glue 2007-10-05
I think this glue is best used for porous surfaces like stone, wood, drywall, foam, rug material, cloth and brickwork. It dries brittle, with practically no elasticity, so I don't recommend it for automotive applications where there is a lot of mechanical vibration. It also takes longer than 24 hours to dry, and it foams and leaves a lot of run-off. So if you have holes or voids to fill, this glue is perfect. I consider Gorilla Glue to be the new improved, waterproof version of white glue. The manufacturer claims this is the world's strongest glue, but I don't think so. And it's not an all-purpose glue like Household Goop, or The Welder.

    Better Than Superglue! 2007-04-14
Much better than superglue you buy at the grocery store!

To get it open you'll need a sharp pair of scissors or good knife as you have to cut the tip off then put the cap (on the side) on top. And a tip to make it last longer, when finished squeeze the bottle until the glue is almost at the tip (to get the air out), then put the top on. Then put the entire bottle into a ziplock bag so to keep all the air out as the air will try it up.

    Gorilla Glue 2007-03-20
Is very strong. Seems to hold very heavy items in place very well. Also, holds small items as well. Needs a better delivery system as well.

Tough as nails in the right application! 2006-08-24
I purchased this Gorilla Glue to see if I could salvage a resin molded rocking horse decoration, about 10 inches tall, but heavy in weight. I've tried many other products, including super glues and super gels, to glue the resin horses leg back to the rocker bottom to no avail until I tried this product. The horses legs wanted to pull toward each other and it took some force to keep them anchored to the rocker bottom, where they original were spaced. My biggest challange was finding something to wedge between the front two legs to set the right spacing for the glue to dry in place. I was concerned that even if the glue dried, would it be strong enough to be secure when I removed the wedge holding the legs in place. I followed the directions on the bottle, moistening the pieces to be glued, waited the 4 hours, and it turned out perfect, very sturdy! I've also tried this product on a ceramic tea cup and is worked very well, and on wood is works probably the best. I had some miniature wooden cars where the roof broke off, on so I wet the wood down really good, applied the glue, watched the foam expand, checked the setting every 20 minutes and wiped any extra foam off, after the four hours dry time, it was as good as new. I've tried using this glue on plastic products but haven't had any luck with that. I've had some childrens' toys break with plastic and rubber surfaces and the glue doesn't seem to want to stick or set. The foaming is kind of a pain, and you might want to monitor that on your project, but if it works well that's something I'm willing to overlook. I was pleased that there is no odor at all using this glue, even when first applied. Overall, this glue works really well on most surfaces, and will be a good alternative when other glues don't perform. I don't think there's any one product that does job exceptionally.
