Designed specifically for serious birders and naturalists, the ultra close-focus capabilities get you intimate with the details without getting pecked in the head. BaK-4 porro prisms on select models yield brighter images and better edge sharpness. Extended eye relief reduces eyestrain for eyeglass wearers during long observation periods. They're perfect for the budding nature observer.

Excellent quality, economical buy

The NatureView 8 x 42 Roof Prism Binoculars are an incredibly good pair of binoculars. I searched around and compared the specifications of several Bushnell binos and I decided on these. I couldn't be happier with my choice. The field of view (330' @ 100 yrds)is perfect for birding, making it easy to follow a bird as it flies from perch to perch. The color optics are amazing, as I've never seen the plumage so clearly before. This binocular in particular is nicely streamlined on account of the roof prisms, not bulky like the NatureView Plus 8 x 42. I highly recommend purchasing these great binoculars.
