This laptop backpack has all the room you need and for a great price. It's durable, easy to clean, and can hold your laptop plus several books and misc items. The shoulder straps are very comfortable as well. I can see myself using this a long time.
Nice, comfortable, lightweight bag

I switched from a more traditional leather bag to this backpack recently and I'm very happy. This bag holds more and feels lighter than the old bag, and in the couple of weeks I've owned it looks as good as new despite many hours on my shoulder.
It holds a ton of stuff - I'm carrying the laptop, power supply, small wireless router, USB mouse, full-size digital camera, various cables, portable hard drive, notebook, DVDs, pens, etc. (Yes, I'm amazed too that I can walk after reading that). It holds all that easily with room for more - there are pockets I haven't touched yet. I could probably fit another laptop in there if I wanted to.
The only reason I've given it 4 stars is its utter lack of stylishness - it's very utilitarian. If that matters to you, this may not be your bag.
Tough stuff 2008-05-11
In 2006 I bought my first Targus backpack (looks like this one, but with some extra pockets and compartements) and I loved it: it was so spacious and the material and zippers are strong. Backpack is washable and very durable. I could load almost everything in it, and I took it to all trips. Though Targus backpacks don't look stylish they are ready to any tough job. These are definitely one of the best backpacks in the market.
Outstanding Bag 2008-04-28
This bag is both commodious and comfortable. I live in a very hot, moist climate and my laptop is invariably cool and dry, no matter how much sweat is on the outside of the bag.
Highly recommended. Great value. I'm not sure how much better bags costing hundreds of dollars are, but it simply can't be enough to justify the difference in price from this gem.
Nice Targus Notebook Case 2008-07-05
I bought this case for my girlfriend's 17" laptop computer. The shoulder strap makes it easy to carry, but harder for someone to grab it from her and run. It's well padded and has a large pocket on the outside, as well as two inside pockets. We would like it even better if the inside pocket divider was full height and padded, too. It is well worth the money I paid for it.
GREAT laptop bag, at a GREAT price 2008-07-04
I bought the Targus CVR600 15.4 Goove Notebook Backpack for my new Dell XPS 1530 laptop. It's great bag that has enough pockets to store all my stuff, cables, discs, SD cards and flash drives, books for class and my 15" laptop. It's a great place to keep all the things I need while away at school. And, if needed, it's got room to OVERSTUFF it with other things I may not even need. Either way, I get to keep all that I want with me!
I highly recommend this bag and best of all, it compare very well to bags that cost twice as much! Thanks Targus!
Kindof Dorky, but oh so functional... 2008-07-01
Have a 13" Mac with no case. Going to Crete for work so needed something. Ordered this. Pleasantly surprised at the (good) quality. Holds computer wonderfully. Also big enough to cram lots of other junk (even clothes). A great travel item for computer. Just remember, the more stuff you load into it, the more it sticks out from you back and you know what that means.... DORKY! Especially when you double-strap. Oh well....

This is a review for the 17" slip case. This has a great padding on it that's durable and good looking. It holds the computer perfectly, and with a slight bulge, a power cord and block will fit in the front pocket with lots of other cables and electronics. Great value for a great product. Also has a wonderful document area by the laptop area.
