Not good 2008-08-18
These came with my mp3 player and I hate them.I am an average sized woman and they don't fit in my ears. They are too big.I mostly use them for running and they do not stay in.I have to wear my sunglasses over them to make them "sorta" stay in my ears.

Far Superior to Standard IPOD Earbuds 2008-08-08
Poor quality earbuds have always been an irritation for me. A person pays big bucks for a great mp3 player like an IPOD and it comes with junky ear pieces that sound bad and don't stay in one's ears.

This is far better than the standard earbuds. The hooks keep them from falling out of the ears and the sound quality is good.

I think it is unfortunate that Apple and other companies making mp3 players don't include good earbuds in the first place, but since they don't, this is a good solution. Highly recommended!

Why can't the clip be functional? 2008-08-05
I love this style of headphone: earbuds hurt the insides of my ears after about 10 minutes but I can wear this type all day because they slide in sideways and the ear clips keep them on. I am not concerned too much with sound quality as long as it's not fuzzy or tinny so I really don't know how these stack up against other headphones in that department--all I know is that I've had several pairs of this style from Sony (they seem pretty durable--it's always been my fault that I needed to replace them) and always loved them.

Here's my complaint (echoing what a few people have already said): The shirt clip is ridiculous. I would have just bought one of the normal pairs (not the "sport" kind) if I had known how useless it is. When I chose this model, I was thinking, "Hey, now when I'm bouncing around on the machines at the gym, the cord won't be flopping everywhere" and now I'm thinking, "Why couldn't they use a normal clip--the kind that just works like a clothespin where you pinch one side together and the other side opens up?" Instead of that simple design, someone brilliantly thought they'd create a clip that works more like a clamp. You have to pry one end open to release the clipping end, stick your shirt into the opening (usually I have to double or triple the fabric because it won't hold onto just one layer of cloth), hold the clipping end together, and then push the other end back together. It's a 2-hand operation, which is just silly.

My advice: just get the plain version if you want this type of headphone (and maybe use a clothespin to secure it to your shirt...) or look elsewhere if you really want something that attaches the cord to you!

Decent headphones for those who don't like ear buds 2008-07-16
These are good lightweight headphones that let me enjoy music (or podcasts) while I go for a walk. You get good sound and you can hear the traffic when you need to cross the street without having to adjust the volume. They will occasionally slip a little from the most comfortable position

Sports headphones by Sony 2008-06-24
I got the sports headphones because I really hated the ear buds and the way they fit. I am extremely happy with the sports headphones as this fit over the ear instead of in the ear.

Terrible for small ears 2008-05-20
I bought these to wear while running, but they are way too big for my ears. The bud doesn't fit in the canal - which is the case for all ear bud styles for me. They are too "tall" and didn't survive any head movement at all.

Nice-but 2008-05-09
Bought to use when riding a motorcycle but they cause to much pressure when you put the helmet on. Otherwise, I wear them when outside weeding and mowing and they are great as they are water resistant.

So much for the Sports part!!!! 2008-04-11
I have had these headphones for 5 months and the stiff rubber coating is broken and exposing the wires. They sound ok, but from and engineering point of view they are always getting tangled up and the earphones themselves act as little grappling hooks. They are always getting caught on stuff. I commute on the subway every day and I am always wrestling with them. I would not recommend these head phones on a ease of use arena.

Great earphones 2008-03-14
I've had these earphones for almost a year and a half now and they're among the best I've ever had. the buds aren't too big as to be uncomfortable, but not so small they fall out, and the clips are just the right size that the hold the buds perfectly. I would highly recommend these buds

one word to the wise however, if you have particularly small or large ears you will have trouble with these because of the size of the clip. they fit me perfectly but if my girlfriend, who has rather small ears, tries to where them, they just slip right off because the clips are too big for her ears.
