Case Logic problems 2008-03-17
I have been purchasing Case Logic dvd products for many years now. They are getting harder and harder to find. When I came across the picture of the product, it was exactly what I was looking for, three ring dvd binders, what I already have, so I purchased a couple. Unfortunately, Amazon does not recognize the importance of making certain they actually sell what they advertise in their photos, and I received different cases. I have a couple of these cases - they are not the three ring binders Case Logic first produced. They consist of two snap-in tabs which, if you're like me and alphabetize your collection, makes it a true pain in the neck to add dvd's. I stated this to Amazon, who quickly issued a return sticker and re-shipped the item before doing as I asked and checking to see if the product sent would be as shown in the photo. Not one of the multiple e-mail correspondances addressed my specific concern. Needless to say I received the same product. I wish someone was interested in all aspects of customer service and the company advertised what they are really selling. I will not stop buying from Amazon, but I'll have to try and find Case Logic products elsewhere.

Dislike the New Design 2007-05-06
I have several of these wallets for my DVDs. The older version has metal three-ring binders. The new design allows quick access, but only to the DVDs in the front. If you want to add any pages, you have to remove the pages in the front; in other words, if you want to add to the back of the book, you have to remove all of the pages! I find this very irritating.

Review of DVB40 2007-03-10
Its a pretty good product. Although Case Logic changed the format of the sleeves from a three ring to a two strap binder, it does the job. But if you like to keep thinks orderly and have to change or re-arrange sleeves, its a big pain in the neck. I don't know what they were thinking at Case Logic when they made this change.

a disappointment 2007-03-09
What a disappointment! I ordered this, hoping for the 3-ring binder version in the photo, which has been discontinued and can no longer be found in stores, but instead I received the strap-hinge version. Totally worthless, because the straps become brittle and break within a relatively short period of time.
It would help alot if the picture were changed, so as not to mislead others.
Also, I ordered and paid for two, but received only one. Not good business practice.

Great product, but not like the picture shows 2007-03-02
Ordered two of these and they are great. The descriptions and many of the reviews are outdated (notice some of them are 3 years old). I had to go to the Case Logic website for a true description and picture. Design changes have been made over the years.

This DVD wallet holds 21 DVDs along with the movie title notes. The "48 disk" description assumes you have two DVD's per title page plus the disks that are slid into the front end-cap. Probably can't fit too much more than this anyway. The zipper is starting to get hard to close on one of ours. (Although a few of our DVDs had thick cardboard title pages and we often stuffed in more than just the DVD front covers. We would have more room if we hadn't done that.)

This product HAS a zipper, but does NOT have the three ring binder system (although the pages are punched for 3-rings). It is Case Logic's new strap system. The wallet is made out of "Koskin" which is a type of synthetic leather. Looks much better (in my opinion) than the fabric wallets you often see.

The other thing I like is that this case is not HUGE. It fits on the same low-height shelf that originally held our DVD cases. If I would have ordered a larger case it wouldn't have fit in the same spot. Also these should be portable enough for the kids to take on long car trips.

I think this is a great product, just like I was expecting after doing my research directly from Case Logic's website. I'm planning on buying a third one.

dvb 40 48 disc DVD Wallet 2007-01-09
Holds up to 40 DVDs in protective liners and the movie liners in the front pocket / 3-ring binder holds everything firmly in place / Stylish Koskin

Upgrade is a downgrade 2006-06-07
Case Logic has completely changed the DVB-40. It now holds only 21 liner notes instead of 25, and 48 DVDs instead 40. Every page holds two discs, which is kind of a waste since a good number of DVDs only come with one disc, and there are six slots on the front which I still haven't found a use for. They've also replaced the 3 metal rings with some band thing which makes it difficult to remove the pages. To the outside they've added brown thread which I don't particularly like. It's still a space saver, but no longer as convenient or stylish as it once was. I'll be finding another DVD Wallet when it's time to expand my collection.

The latest version fails to meet expectations 2006-01-19
This version released late 2005 is obviously a cost-cutting result. This release drops the zipper which is essential when travelling. Also the price have doubled compared to the previous style.

Efficiency nut 2005-11-10
This is the best solution so far for storing DVDs. I tried the DVB80 for a week and it was too cumbersome to handle and virtually impossible to organize. The DVB40 is easy to access and still a huge space saver.

Easy & Expandable 2005-09-28
This product is very versatile. Compact storage for a lot of DVD or Cds. It's easy and expandable with extra sleeves which can be ordered. The front of the pages allow you to keep the original paper cover from the hard case.
