Great quality item

there is no carry on like this you have a lot of pockets to carry your items; extra silence casters you carry this bag at the airports with no noise at all, A+++ for this item.

Have been using this product for 3 years for my 17 inch laptop. Like the design and ease it provides to carry the heavy laptop. Would certainly recommend it.
If life hands you a huge laptop, this is a great bag to carry it with.

I was looking for a bag to carry my new work laptop, a 17" Dell Precision M6300, to and from work via mass transit and also as a carry-on when travelling for business. I am a 5'4" woman, and have trouble carrying heavy loads. My first choices was for a backpack, but I could not find one small enough to fit my back but large enough to hold the machine.
I looked at many rolling bags before choosing this one, and I am very happy with it. It holds the laptop securely in the sleeve, tight but not too tight. It was pretty easy to slip it back into the sleeve after going thru airport security, though I did have to take pains not to pack the bag too tightly. It is extremely well balanced, and rolls easily even fully packed on thick carpet. I have not used the shoulder strap yet, but when testing it I found it to be amazingly comfortable for such a heavy load.
Things I really like:
- The way it rolls
- The "ticket pocket" which easily holds an umbrella and my folding fan (important when you're taking mass transit)
- The T handle, surprisingly. At my height, I can choose to grab the bar below the handle and still have a secure grip.
- The add-a-bag strap on the back, which means it balanced securely on my larger bag when travelling.
- Shaping of the bottle pocket, which worked even when the bag was fully loaded.
- The front organizer
- The top carry handle. Comfortable whenever you need to lift the bag, like when getting on the bus.
- The price!
Things I don't like:
- Width of the bag. I'd prefer a "vertical" orientation if that was possible.
- Tight zippers in the pockets in the back. Makes those neat mesh bags harder to use.
- The way the grippy texture on the T-handle sometimes catches on my pants pockets.
- The middle "document" section when I was using it as a carry-on. I would have prefered more of a 70%-30% split of the space rather than 50%-50%. I don't carry a lot of papers or things that need to be kept flat, though.
If this is the type of bag you need, I definitely recommend it. It's even a little lighter than most of the other bags I was looking at.
Two flaws mar an otherwise excellent product.

This bag is perfect for road warriors - as long as you're shorter than 5'10". Tons of pockets, great storage space, excellent usability. I've fit four days of clothes into it along with a laptop and various papers, pens and other business necessities - although I had to remove the laptop protection sleeve to do it. (being able to remove this is a nice feature by itself.) It's light and versatile, and has stood up to months of constant use without any damage.
That said, there are two flaws (one minor, one major) that bump this rating from an easy five stars all the way down to three. First is the shoulder strap: it's made of an elastic material that stretches quite a bit. Adjusting the bag to that 'perfect spot' is difficult, as different amounts of stuff in it will change the weight and the amount of strap stretch. Whenever I carry the bag it's always a little too high or low, unless I spend time fiddling with the strap - and after packing for the next trip I need to go through the whole adjustment routine again.
You're probably saying "why don't you just use the wheels?" right now, and therein lies the second, and most major, problem: the handle is just a few inches too short. I'm six feet even, and another two or three inches on the handle would make this perfect. Right now, with the handle extended all the way I either have to slouch over a bit (inviting lower back agony after walking a while) or be faced with the bag constantly banging into my heels as I walk. It's maddening - there is simply no comfortable way to wheel this bag around if you're six feet or taller.
If you're shorter than I and/or don't do too much air travel this bag scores on all points, but its rating swiftly drops if you have to make too many long walks through airports or hotels or other places, banging your heels or leaning over unnaturally and quickly moving toward lower back pain.
Impressive... Most Impressive

I recently christened my new Kensington Contour Roller on a trip from Madison WI to Baltimore MD. PRE-TRIP: I was impressed with the quality of manufacturing. The case is solidly made; it's also very spacious. I actually was able to load everything that came with my new Dell XPS M1730 Laptop into it. For those of you who don't know, this is a monster computer, a laptop in name only, that comes with an enormous power brick that, if it accidentally fell off a table, could squash a small dog. The case swallowed all this gear and more without even a hiccough. The SnugFit sleeve was ridiculously snug at first, the best analogy being this: have you ever seen pantyhose right out of the package, and wonder how a human being can fit into that? It was that snug. However, the sleeve did stretch quite a bit and finally was able to accommodate the M1730. The mouth of the compartment that holds the SnugFit sleeve does not open very wide, so if you're not careful, the zipper can scratch your laptop's case as you insert and remove it from the sleeve. It would be nice if this compartment opened a bit wider, if the sleeve was just a tad less tight, and if the material that lined the sleeve was a little less scratchy. ON THE ROAD: People have remarked that the telescoping handle seems flimsy, but it was in fact sturdy enough to take some rough handling. The handle is positioned in such a way that the bag rolls close behind you -- so close in fact that I had to be careful not to accidentally kick it (perhaps I just have a long stride). The bag rolls so effortlessly, I tended to keep a light grip on the telescoping handle, which meant that if there was a rut in the road and the wheels caught it, the handle pulled right out of my hand -- not a big deal, just a small caution. Once I held tight to the handle, I found that the bag was very stable, went up and off curbs very easily. Clearing the airport's security checkpoint was easy -- the laptop slid out and back into the stretched-out sleeve with little difficulty. It fit beautifully in the overhead compartment on the plane. Carrying the case on board, I appreciated the novel design of the (non-telescoping) handles, which fit nicely together, making them easy to grip. The contour design also makes the bag easy to carry. The only problem I found was with the shoulder strap. Look at the picture of the bag, and observe that the strap is on the ground. When you're wheeling the bag around, that does indeed seem to be the shoulder strap's favorite place to be, dragging on the ground. No matter how I tried to position the strap so that this wouldn't happen, the strap always managed to get loose and drag happily on the ground, often sliding happily under the case and getting gouged by the case's happy little blue wheels. I finally just took the strap off and stowed it. A clever solution to this problem would be welcome. POST-TRIP: One star off for my gouged strap, but other than that, I like the bag. Its excellent design far outweighs a few little glitches, and at [...] (post rebate) it's a great value. Buy it... you'll like it!

I needed a product with multiple functionality: compartments for cell phone, MP3 player, business cards, pens, calculator, sunglasses, keys, train/airline tickets, water bottle, computer, files, mouse, power cords, billfold/purse, lunch bag. Needed it to be water/snow proof with durable construction and easy rolling wheels. Everything I need goes into this bag without carrying any other bag. This bag is light in weight making it easier to carry. Pricing is also affordable in comparison to other bags that weigh more. It has definately met all of my expectations.
Great!

I have not had any problems. I know several others who also have this same bag (some for significantly longer than me) and they haven't had any problems either. It has a lot of space for it's size and is easy to use. I have pretty bad back problems which made me get this bag and I'm grateful that I did. I'd recommend it to everyone looking for a low-price but good quality bag.
Handle issues

Had this bag 4 months with daily usage.. the button on top of the handle doesn't always push the rubber stoppers in, if forced eventually the rubber disappears and the handle doesn't stay open. Plus the handle wobbles to the right and left. The wheels are nice, but the bag is a little large to go under any airline seats easily. I did get it in the overhead bins nicely even on the embraer aircraft (commuter jet)-- not sure if these folks will replace the bag.
Sturdy bag, holds quite a bit

I recently went back to school and I needed a wheeled-bag for my laptop because I got tired of the back pain caused by my other bag. This one has worked out quite well. I love bags with compartments and this one has quite a few. I was able to find a spot for all my miscellaneous items. I wish it could hold a few school books in addition to the laptop. The handle sometimes feels a bit flimsy, but I'm tough on equipment and bags and it's holding out so far to my rough handling. I don't regret my purchase.
