Comment: Ya, it felt like my stomach was being coated in chocolate milk.
Not a good feeling, No way could I drink this on a daily basis.

Comment: I don't know how to explain this, it has little crumbs of cookies that have
nothing to do with the taste, this doesn't taste at all like cookies or cream.

Comment: Not too shabby, a strong taste of ice cream with a wet kiss of root beer.
I don't know how I would feel after a work out drinking this, but it is
pleasant.

Comment: Creamy fruit punch taste. The product sits in your stomach however and
and the feeling doesn't pass for a good 20 minutes.

Comment: Wonderful flavor however it doesn't measure up to some of the others.
The other fruit flavors were great and this one seem to more like a
Banana laxative.

Comment: Taste was very much like the Vanilla ice cream. The flavor was good however I
do not think it was worthy of a 5 pound bucket. You would most likely
get tired of this flavor very quickly, and it is very sweet.

Comment: Taste was alright, seemed to resemble powdered milk mix with extra sugar added
I was not a fan of this one by no means, if you really like Vanilla I would
suggest buying a 2 pound bucket and try that first.

Comment: My default, one thing to note though is that the "ON" label makes the sample
far different than the bucket servings. The sampler was rather good, the bucket
I would give one less point. This is my default though and I have yet to get tired
of it. I honestly love the Banana Strawberry much more though... BY FAR!

Comment: I only give this an 8 because I love the fruit flavors and I love oranges.
This flavor however was VERY disappointing. This tastes exactly like the
wonderful Orange cream pops you used to eat when you were little. After a
work out I don't see how anyone could down a sweet ice cream flavored orange
sugar pop. ...Ya, so I didn't care for this too much, if you like the sweet
stuff, and you love oranges, this could be just for you.

Once I realized that most whey protein powder mixes contain artificial sugars and flavoring I sought out for an all natural solution and I ended up with Optimum Nutrition Natural Vanilla with much skepticism.
However once I added this to my shake I noticed a huge difference. It tastes much better, it mixes much more smoothly and is all around superior.
I highly recommend it.

if you are planning to buy this item, please try it before doing so... it mihgt not suit you since i gained fat in 2 months time witht he same i diet i had...
Gold Standard 100% natural Whey protien - natural vanilla

Pros:
Nutrition - 24g protien, 5.5g BCAAs, 4g glutamine precusors, 130 cal, 5g carbs, 3g sugar, 1.5g fat, .5 saturated fat per serving; compares well to the non-natural artificially sweetened gold standard whey which has 2g less carbs and maybe 20 less calories per serving, but, hey what's a small nutritional difference to get all natural ingredients.
Ingredients - all natural, no artificial sweetners
Taste (natural Vanilla) - not overly sweet which I consider a bonus because I've tried other protient powders which taste way too sweet though it is a bit bland; a good base flavor to work with, just add any ingredients to create a desired flavor -chocolate syrup, nuts, fruit, coffee all work well
Good value - 5.15lb tub for about $40
Shakes - mixes well in a blender, no stupid lumps, may get some lumps by shaking or hand mixing but not as many as other whey powders I've used
Cons:
Taste (natural vanilla) : a bit bland and maybe a bit bitter probably due to natural sweetner, this can be a pro or con depending on what you're looking for but again cut it with any ingredient you want to create any flavor and you're in business
Price : a few bucks more expensive than the non-natural stuff
Overall, a great source of lean protien, one of the better whey powders I've tried and a good value.

I appreciate that this product doesn't have any weird ingredients in it, but I'm sure it's still made from cows that were given various hormones. Thus the marketing is a bit misleading.
I bought the chocolate flavor, whose taste is unbearable without some sort of additive. I use Nesquik, but sugar works fine. Compared to other powders I've tried, though, it's not a particularly poor-tasting product. In fact, with the Nesquik it's one of the tastier whey proteins. The powder mixes pretty decently, as well.
Good taste depending on how you mix it 2008-07-08
Good with water. Better with milk. Great with instant oatmeal. Doesn't work in yogurt. I liked the taste of the same brand Vanilla Ice Cream flavor better, but this one's not too bad.
USE THIS STUFF 2008-07-05
I am a petite woman in her 20s. I am NOT a body builder. Yet, I enthusiastically recommend this product. If you have not been updated on recent health news, there have been several studies that have revealed that whey protein greatly assists in weight loss. (Just Google this.) While I am unable to give you a scientific analysis on why whey is good, this particular brand is whey is great. I used it everyday last summer and even now before meals. I do feel fuller and more energetic after workouts. As for the taste, even adding water to the mix tastes good! It has a slightly sweet taste, but isn't particularly too sweet. If you are seeking to bulk up or if you are just seeking to lose weight -- get this.

This is a good value for Whey protein. The vanilla flavor does not taste "fake" like many other brands. It blends really well with any kind of fruit or juice to make a protein packed smoothie. I blend it with carrot juice, flax seed and a banana for a more complete meal. The additional discount and free shipping you get when you subscribe make it a real value.

ON's 100% Natural Whey Protien has been a staple in my house for a number of years now. I continue to find it very tasty as a sweet treat at night or as a get me going in the morning shake.

Great chocolate flavor with no artificial ingredients and no sugar. Give it a good shake it in a mixer bottle and you ready to go - completely dissolves in water and tastes great unlike some other powders I've tried before. Resulting protein shake isn't overly sweet and should be quite low in GI response. Excellent value.
