would be better if it can pronounce

Basically the dictionary function is good, but as a electronic product, I would really hope that it will have an optional function that can pronounce the word I am interested.

This product is great! I highly reccomendit to everyone in school, specially for homeworks for papers, etc, it is of great help. very convinient size, pocket or in your school bag, it is much better than walking around with a huge dictionary, eh?
Everything I ever wanted in a dictionary 2008-04-18
Has derivations, example sentences, is easy to use and overall PERFECT. I bought one for myself and two for my parents. The only thing that sucks is I had to wait almost a YEAR to order it because for some reason this sucker is hard to come by.
Excellent resource 2008-04-07
I would recommend this dictionary. It is small easy to use and worked very well for me. I liked how quickly I was able to enter words and see the results. The thesaurus was also an invaluable resource for writing. My only complaint is that it is too delicate. The screen on mine broke after just dropping it a few feet. If you buy it, buy some protective case for it; I think one is available from the manufacturer. I plan to order the Seiko ER8000 instead.
Also if you plan to buy this dictionary look for the sharp PW-E560 instead. It is often cheaper and includes more words!

I have been using it for about 1 month. It has most of the words I looked for. But there is one thing that is annoying. For example, you enter a word like 'retributive', and it just shows you if it is an adjective but not the meaning. And you have to browse up to see the meaning of the root word, 'retribution' or alike. Other than this, it is practical and fast. It gets the work done.

Wonderful compact electronic dictionary 2008-02-25
We have owned the Sharp electronic dictionary for just a few weeks and we find it wonderful. It is easy to use, powerful and has become our "go to" dictionary for our frequent Scrabble games - much easier than lugging our 10 pound Oxford dictionary around.
Good product 2008-02-23
This was exactly what I wanted: A large vocabulary, definitions AND derivations, and ease of use. It does not have a 'speaking pronounciation' feature, which is good - that adds to cost and usually reduces the number of words defined. I'd rather have the cost in content that frills. I also like the fact that it includes foreign phrases. Finally, it is light and small. I got rid of my decades-old bulky dictionary, and like this much better.
