Editorial Review
It's light, it's ruggedly built, it's comfortable, and it fires faster than lightning, with a speed rating of 20 fasteners per second. Pop your air hose on it and be impressed. It's an incredibly light 4.5 pounds, but it works as hard as you do. We like the extra details that mean a long tool life and the ability to survive the jobsite, like a rugged yet lightweight magazine, a carbide nose insert, quality aluminum housing and a long-wearing textured grip. And we like that all its adjustments are tool-free: jam clearing, exhaust direction and the repeatable, lockable indexed depth adjustment, placed at the trigger rather than the nose. Best of all, it draws just .039 standard cubic feet per minute, and that means a lot less time lost on the job waiting for the compressor. The magazine loads 160 staples, a reload is fast and easy. It's probably one of the most comfortable guns we've come across, too. --Kris Jensen-Van Heste

Easy to use 2007-06-26
This stapler is just what I need for all of my 16ga.stapler jobs. The depth adjustment and the trigger mode are both easy to change. It is lighter than most 16ga. staplers making it less tiring to operate for a full day.

Wow 2007-05-07
I have never been a DeWalt fan in the past but this stapler has made me start looking at them as a tool source again. It is very light and easy to manuever around a project. Easy to load. Easy to adjust depth. Tool free jam clearing although they are rare. This stapler has made several jobs so much easier and a pleasure to do again. Comes with both a bump trigger and a sequencial trigger so it can be set up how ever you want it. I like the bump. But changing over is easy to do. For the cost this DeWalt has exceded everything I expected. Very good buy. Please note I do woodworking as a hobby. I am not a contractor or someone who uses this 24 x 7. Just different projects as my wife comes up with them... But everytime I reach for it I know it will do the job. I can count on it. To me that means a lot.

Dewalt D51430 Crown Stapler 2008-05-22
Man this is the guy. I had no Problem at all shooting 2 inch Staples through my Red Wood Deck & fence, Very Nice Tool

Very satisfying tool 2008-05-18
I've been using this DeWALT stapler for a couple of weeks and have found it a completely satisfying tool. I bought it to install cedar sidewall shingles using 1-inch stainless-steel staples, and I've driven about 2500 staples so far. Every trigger squeeze has fired a staple, and not a single one has jammed or gone astray. I haven't yet tried driving longer staples, but the tool certainly has lots of reserve power that I'm not using.

(Tip: I found FastenerUSA to be a good source for the stainless-steel staples, which I couldn't find locally. Price and speed of delivery were excellent, and so is the quality.)

So far this tool compares favorably with my Milwaukee framing and finish nailers, which I've had for a few years and have also found to be excellent tools.

Well made field stapler 2008-04-10
I'm real happy with this stapler, it's been a great value and a real money maker at the jobsite. I think I picked it up for $110 bucks.

I run a 150PSI air compressor, and generally frame with 100lbs in the line. Turn your line pressure up to 110-120 when you're shooting 2" staples and it'll drive them with no trouble. Drives everything else just fine at 100PSI. The housing is durable and the unjamming mechanism is flawless, though it's only jammed twice in the last 3 houses we framed.

Love this DeWalt medium crown stapler. It takes most of the work out of work and lets me get twice as much done in half the time. Good construction and quality and trouble free service.

Its OK 2007-11-06
For the price its Ok ,not great. It wont drive a 2" staple ,but it does work. If you are looking for something "heavy duty" keep looking.
