Great Wall Jack

My girl friend and I built a 24' X 28' Garage. It is 2 X 6 construction with 1/2" sheathing nailed in place. Girl friend thought standing the walls up was fun.

I bought two of these jacks after I built a wall which was too heavy to lift.With these jacks I lifted the wall (20' long 8' tall with plywood nailed on)easily by myself. One thing I didn't know when I bought them though, is they only work one way. Once you start lifting the wall you can't let it back down. These jacks have to climb all the way up the 2x4 you use and come off the other end after the wall is up. Other than that they are excellent.

i think this is one of the best tools ive ever bought. I have to say that knowing how hard it is to get people to do framing. If im down only with two guys we can still stand walls no matter how long. Lifting the longest wall ive lifted so far is 56'X8' no probelm.If your having probelms finding help go with these and your work will be more productive garenteed. I have been framing for years and I never have used a better wall jack system. these jacks work very well. I was a little bit sceptical until i tried them. We lifted a 30'long x 10' high 2x6 pre-assembled wall with 2 wall jacks and only 2 guys no sweat!
we jacked it up about 8' then we put our braces on and jacked it the rest the way up. then we just plumbed the wall and shot in the braces. Very nice product!!!!
