Great Hardware

As with all Pearl hardware, this clamp does exactly what it is supposed to do and does it well. I purchased a Yamaha drum set 8 or 9 months ago, mainly because the local Yamaha dealer is a good friend of mine, & they're great drums; however their hardware, especially their cymbal stands, are terrible and still utilize clamping methods that they haven't updated in decades, they also did not offer a rack system. I have since completely switched all of my hardware over to Pearl. Fortunately Pearl has not moved their hardware manufacturing to China like many of the other drum manufacturers so you can still expect good quality from them and the prices are still very competitive. I will continue to use Pearl hardware and may someday switch to Pearl drums, unless I see that 'Made in China' sticker on them.
