The quality of Primary Line instruments was improved in 2002 for better resonance.
16 rosewood bars, tuned to A=440 (the industry standard).
Diatonic range is from C1 (middle C) to A2, plus F#'s and Bb.
Includes one pair of Sonor hard felt mallets.

Orff-Schulwerk style alto xylophone. Primary Line instruments feature a unique design on the bars: the note letter name as well as the staff notation are printed on each bar. This feature provides another learning opportunity for students to relate the note to notation, every time they play. The positioning of the notation also encourages children to play in the correct place (the middle of the bar). The resonator box is made entirely of wood to ensure true resonance and clarity of sound, and features holes to store your mallets when not in use. Dimensions of resonator box are approximately: 28.75" long x 7.75" high x 9.25" wide at widest point; 6" wide at narrowest point.
