One of the better DSL Modems 2008-07-14
This is the second one of these DSL Modems I have owned. The original was 5 years old and took a hit by lightening so it needed to be replaced. I looked long and hard at virtually every DSL modem wireless router combo on the market and came back to the TrendNet modem because it has the best security protect on the firewall and wireless features.

Many of the "Home" version just don't offer automated setup and defaults that are strong, but also a user interface that enables a higher level of control and security. I almost when with a level two Cisco device but could not get past the price tag.

I would have given this device 5 stars but the unit version I now have is vD1 and has one small glitch that I am told by TrendNet support will be fixed soon. (The Trusted PC option under access control works with only one wireless device)

Bottom line, this is the best of the best in this space and for the price it makes it the best unit for the home user.
