These calipers are great when they work. Sometimes though, they put out completely random measurements, suce as 231.55mm when they are only opened to around 20mm. Hard to rely on something so inaccurate...
A Great Little Tool

When shopping online for a digital caliper, I came across this one and it has turned out to be a great little tool for quick accurate measurements. I would buy this one again if needed, and recommend it.
Solid Construction / Accurate / Strong Padded Case 2008-07-19
This digital caliper is quite well made for the price, and surprisingly accurate as well. The very nice protective padded hard case is also a nice feature. I would recommend this caliper to anyone needing high accuracy without spending much more. It's solid, it's accurate, it's a good bargain!

Digital readout doesn't work, very unreliable readout. Changes measurements just by shaking your wrist. Flimsy construction, guess I'll be spending more for a better and more reliable one.......stay away from this one!!

Checked around before purchasing, this was the best price and shipping. Very pleased with quality and features, price was way less than similar offerings. Shipping was faster than expected. Would order from this company again.

It's made of hardened stainless steel. It measures from .001" to 6" or .01mm to 150mm. It calibratibles to zero, and can change from mm to inches with the touch of a button. It also has a locking screw, combined display, external measuring surfaces, thumb roller, rail, battery cap, depth measuring bar, step measuring surfaces and knife-shaped measuring surface for inside measurements.. It also in a molded and padded black plastic case for safe storage. It can be used for industrial work, hobby work, jewelry, gunsmithing, etc

Useful digital caliper

I was looking for a precision digital measuring device to monitor the cracks on the walls of my basement and the garage. I live in mountaineer state and the accumulation of rain water underground could affect the structure over a long period of time. Hence I bought this device to measure the length and width of few selected cracks on the wall to see if there is a change in the length, width or depth over a period of time. This device is sufficient for my purpose and works great, and the reading is accurate. This is good for few common applications that requires the measurements of length, breadth and depth, but may not be suitable for high precision measurements: Highly recommended.
