I can't tell you how many people have complimented me on these speakers -- they are lightweight, portable, easy to use and produce amazing quality sound. Definite "bang for the buck"! I use them all the time and haven't had a problem (owned them for about 16 months now with use 3-4 times per week). I also live in a dusty and wild weather area (the rural interior of a developing country) and they've stood up to some crazy wear-and-tear. My only pet peeve? The volume automatically goes to zero on the speakers every time they are unplugged. So when you plug it in again you have to keep pressing the volume up button rather than it "remember" your setting. Even still, I give it 5 stars.

I like these speakers because they are small and I can use them with my Zune at work. That's why I bought them and I am happy with the purchase. The batteries it came with seem to last ok - I've had them for 3 weeks and haven't died yet - I use them about 4-5 hours a day.

These speakers are just the ticket for listening to my Creative Zen Vision M mp3 player in situations unsuitable for wearing earphones (like when I am working out). They provide amazing depth of sound from such a diminutive package and half-way decent battery life, though I did finally break down and buy rechargeable batteries to use in these speakers. You'll know when the batteries are on their way out as the speakers turn themselves completely off; no fading of power. The speakers are well-supported on their base and will hold their tilt at any angle you choose. I couldn't be happier with the price or the product.

My travelsound came yesterday along w/ the transformer,.had it turn on and was amazed the sound quality of this tiny winy speaker...i even let my husband listened and he cant believed the sound of such small speaker could deliver such good quality..for the prize and the convenient to take anywhere i highly recommend this Portable speaker to everyone,Buy it and you wont REGRET, buy the transformer as well..

What a great system so powerful for the price and ohhhh the sound is the best I have ever heard for this type of speaker and price they really compare to my Creative brand computer speakers for sound quality, I bought this speaker set for my husband but now I will purchase for myself real soon, you can not beat the price for these speakers or sound quality, there is just one little downside to them they are a little heavy for women to carry but for a man a cinch to carry, we really love these speakers
Does not disappoint 2007-12-02
This item was purchased to accompany my computer when I travel. It attaches easily to the computer. I listen to music and radio from the internet or watch DVD's. The sound is far superior to that of the computer speakers and comparable to a good quality radio.
I love it.
The batteries work satisfactorily but I carry the adapter which is more economical and weighs less than a supply of AA batteris.
Check prices. They vary widely.

These speaker were even better then I expected. I wanted portable, battery operated speakers for my non-ipod mp3 player and these fit the bill perfectly.

Just got back from a few weeks in southern baja surfing and used these speakers as my camp sound system with a cd player and these little speakers really rock. They're way better than the jbl "on tour" speakers and really put out good sound even when used outdoors. Awesome product.

The speaker system sounds great & works well with my Zen. I took it to the beach and enjoyed an entire day of listening to music.
