Can't use

When I recieved this item it was in it's original flimsy box that was beaten up and opened at one end. Now I am missing a piece so I can't really use this at the time. I'm hoping some one contacts me and sends the the other leg. We will see.

With my large silver tv, this product is almost unnoticiable sitting on top. I needed a place for my DVD player and it works out perfectly! Good solution, great price.

May not fit for your TV

Basically it's a good product, but it didn't fit my TV in the beginning. Why? The enclosed legs (secure bars) are too short for my TV. I contacted their service regarding this issue. Unfortunately, I was told that this product does not come with extra bars. As a handyman, I went to ACE hardware to buy two couplers and two 2" bars to extend the legs. At the end, problem's solved, but it cost me additional $6 and my labor to make this product work for my TV.
If you still have an old tube TV 2008-04-01
This thing is great for the old tube TV that will be phased out soon and I already have the HDTV but this is great for a spare room if you have this type of TV and works well to hold things on top of the TV.

This product is horrible. It is flimsy and wobbles, and if you do not get the legs in the back at JUST the right angle, don't be surprised to watch anything placed on it to go flying backwards at any given moment. The whole thing is held in place by double sided tape which will not hold in the front if ANY weight is placed on the back whatsoever. This is an impossible task, and I warn against purchasing this to anyone interested. Buy or build your own sturdy shelf.
Works but not sturdy....

This product works.. for the price you paid for it. It is hard to figure out how to set-up based ont the angle of the back of your TV, but once you get it, you are okay. I would suggest you buy stronger velcro tape as the ones included come off easily. Also, this item is made from plastic, so it is not recommended for heavy objects.

Yes, it is plastic. But it's less than ten dollars! Use your imagination (and careful hands), some additional double sided tape, some glue, and it is as sturdy and fit as can be. Just great. Space-saver, nice looking. If you don't want the bother, buy an expensive one.

Once you figure out how to level the back legs to fit your tv's back slope you're set. Very stable and not flimsy once installed so you can be confident your equipment will survive.
