Canon PIXMA iP6000D Photo Printer 2007-01-18
Printer did not meet all requirements. In spite of research of product materials, the printer does not read 2GB SD memory cards for direct print. Asked for Canon support to assist and they said that they had not tested the card on this older printer. I did not know that this was an "older" printer that would have limitations such as the one that I have described. This printer was sold as new.

Nice Printer, Nice Price 2007-01-14
This printer is terrific and the prints from digital photos are gorgeous. It is easy to use right out of the box. You also cannot beat the price of it.
The difference between rating it a 5 versus a 4 is that the LCD screen on it is not of high quality, it is quite pixelated. Yes, you can see the photo and the orientation, its just that with todays standards, I expected better resolution.

just what I ordered . 2007-01-13
it arrived with in 3 days and the price was unbeatible , great printer !

First Photo Printer 2007-01-12
I bought this printer about a month ago for my wife, and I am very happy with it. I bought it when it was on sale so I got a pretty good deal. The setup was simple. You need to have your own USB cable.

I never had a photo printer before, so I really don't have anything to compare this printer to. For my purposes, this printer is excellent. We were amazed after we printed our first photo. The photo editing is very basic and simple to use. We haven't used any of the features on the printer really. I'm sure that it could do a lot more then we are aware of.

I am very happy with this printer.
I meant to give this 5 stars.

Great printer 2007-01-12
This printer has performed great with photos and word documents for school projects.

Good low-priced photo printer 2008-07-08
All Canon printers are first-rate. I got this one from an Amazon seller at a very good price.

Worst printer I've ever owned 2007-09-10
And I've owned many. I've had this printer for almost a year now. It was OK at first although it didn't print well on certain types of paper regardless of the settings. That was disappointing but I thought I could live with that. About 3 - 4 months into owning it, problems began. And I didn't learn about the problem because I didn't have a need to print more than one document at a time. Naturally when I really need this thing to be dependable, it isn't, like now. I don't print large quantity often but when I do, I want my printer to work and work as well as the manufacturer claims. Whenever I need to print a fairly large job (for an injet, that means about 10, right now I cannot get beyond 2 without a problem), by the time it prints the third copy, blue is green, or maybe it's pink, or I get a rainbow effect. Needless to say, I waste good paper and lots of ink. And yes, of course I check to see if all the ink cartridges are full before embarking on such jobs. So I have to do a deep cleaning after every two docs printed, and even that doesn't always work the first time. It has taken me two days now to print 25 documents.

When it does print well, however, it prints very well, but what good is it if a quality print is a crapshoot with this thing? Perhaps I got a defective printer, but who would take back a printer you've had for 3 - 4 months, without a box? It seems today, although we pay less for technology, we also receive less in quality too.

Wonderful printer 2007-07-26
I can't complain. It's a wonderful printer. Pictures aren't too great w/ the aftermarket ink, but it worked great w/ their ink. It serves my purposes as I'm not into making fab pics.

Edit 1/20/2008
Well, the blue ink doesn't work. The little white thing in the ink holder gets full of blue ink and I have to constantly wash it out. I got myself a used b&w hp laser and it's been my main printer since.

Best Printer I have used 2007-04-16
I have used several different printers over the years and this one is by far my favorite. It is loaded with options that make printing anything a breeze. The menus are simple to use and understand. But the best feature is the ink cartridges. They last about as long as most printers, but the replacement cost is under $15 each (there are 6 different colors). They are also incredibly easy to refill yourself, and last for mutiple refills (I have only had to replace one cartridge in the 2 years I have owned it). If you are looking for a printer for pictures and documents, this, or another full-size Canon printer, is for you.

great printer 2007-04-11
I have this printer for about 2 years now..running strong...not used overly hard but used on a regular basis..Fairly fast...very quiet and awesome quality. I use original Canon ink..which is reasonable cost for this model.
