Highly recommended!

I knew the benefits of a paraffin hand bath from having had it done at the salon, and I was very happy to find the Revlon paraffin bath for such a reasonable price! It has already paid for itself, when you consider the cost of a paraffin manicure at a salon or day spa!
This is the only thing that works on my dry elbows. I've tried exfoliating and moisturizing with every type of product, only to end up with the same dry elbows by the next day. The paraffin bath, used after exfoliating and applying moisturizer, provides immediate results and lasts for weeks.
This purchase included everything I needed: the paraffin bath, four pounds of wax, soft mitts - with Velcro closures at the wrists to hold in the heat, and plastic glove liners.
I go through paraffin wax a little faster than I had expected; four pounds of wax are included with the kit. I've found that the initial four pounds should last about 6-8 uses. That all depends on whether you're doing hands or feet, how many times you dip your hand or foot for each treatment, and whether or not you recycle the wax. I know it's not recommended, so I don't recycle the wax. Paraffin wax is inexpensive, and can be purchased online or over the counter at a pharmacy or grocery store.
My hands take a lot of wear and tear. I work in a hospital, so it's constant hand washing and alcohol-based hand sanitizers... Then when I'm at home, I do a lot of gardening and yardwork. So I'm very glad to be able to pamper myself with a little spa treatment after all that!
FYI: The "Keep Warm" setting was too warm for me. Just a personal preference; I turn it down between "Low" and "Med". I melt the wax on the "HI" setting, which takes about 90 minutes. Then I turn the setting down and wait 15 minutes or so. Still get great results, but it's much more comfortable to use!

Melts Paraffin a timely manner 2008-06-11
I had a paraffin bath before and it literally took 8 hours to melt the wax. This one takes about 90 minutes which is much better and you can't beat it for the price. I garden a lot and this makes my hands soft and it feels good on my joints. I would recommend it to anybody. Can't really go wrong here. good for your feet also.
Very Soft Hands

This is my second paraffin bath, but my first one from Revlon. I like this one better. Easy to use. I used as directed. I found that afterward, my hands were so soft and had a smooth look. I try to use it every day but at least 3 times a week. I prefer to use at night to give the effect time to work without having to wash my hands.
I would definitely recommend this product.
I'm not too keen on the Lavender color of the lid, would have preferred a choice, but can't have everything!!!
Revlon paraffin bath - Great product! 2008-05-20
I've been using this paraffin bath for several weeks for a post-surgery hand that continued to be painful. It feels great during each treatment, and I think the prolonged heat is doing some permanent good. I'm amazed at how well this product is built, and it comes at a very good price. I recommend it without reservation.

I love my paraffin bath - for just abut $30 this product has already paid for itself many times over and I've only had it for two weeks! I use this paraffin bath at least daily, sometimes multiple times a day and it is easy to use and so soothing. I have very dry skin and in the past two weeks I have decreased my hand lotion usage due to the paraffin dips:) Amazon also has the best prices on replacement wax as far as I've seen and I am amazed that for $30 all told at home I can have the same spa treatment I would get for $20 per visit to the nail place. I bought my mom one of the professional grade industrial strength spas (bc of her arthritis) and if I were to use it several times a day like she does I would recommend the hospital grade, but for my use I find the Revlon Spa to be an excellent value and am looking forward to many more uses this season.
Best Paraffin Bath 2008-02-10
I would definately recommend this. I have carpal tunnel in both hands and this definately works to relieve the pain. Hands fit in nicely right up to my wrists. Definately worth the money.
Revelon Paraffin Bath 2008-02-07
I was so please with not only the actual paraffin bath product by Revelon but also very impressed with everything that came included with it! Often these items are sold as extras. The only way to improve this purchase would be us swap the regular non-oil based paraffin for one with oil such as wintergreen. When oil is added to the wax it makes it easier to remove from your hands. I would highly reommend this purchase.
