did not work well for me 2008-01-09
I tried this on a small accessory piece for a ceramic village. It did not hold up the item. Perhap I needed more practice.

Good stuff 2007-12-30
Great all-around tool for the house. I use it to secure speakers to stands, cable modem and router to the desk, posters to the wall, answering machine to counter, etc.

Have never found it to stain or leave residue. I did tear the paper of a poster when trying to remove it but the wall was fine.

well pleased 2007-05-06
This product was the best thing for me. For years I kept my beautiful porcelain horses in a box for fear they might get broken. Since I used this product to secure them, I have no fear they will fall over.

One of the Essentials 2007-04-01
This stuff is what I call "one of the Essentials" for odd products you should have around. It can be used in so many ways: upright, things stay up; vertically, you can keep pictures flat or level, and keep items from swinging side to side. You can lose the shelf from the wall but your items will still be one the shelf. In fact, in that event, you shuld use another quake product to keep that shelf on the wall!

Works as Advertised 2007-03-23
I ordered this to solve simple mundane but aggravating issues: like keeping candles straight in their holders, keep items from sliding off my lap desk such as a cup or laser keyboard, and the normal stuff like vases and other sit around items from getting knocked off.
It is very pliable, reusable, removable, and I have not had any surfaces damaged. For me, it was a good purchase and worth the money.

Cats and glass 2008-06-26
I have a collection of glass figurines. I also have a collection of felines. Without museum putty, I couldn't have both!

Quakehold!~ Museum Putty 2008-05-27
This is a great product. I bought it for the pictures in our office so they will stay straight on the wall. Once there it does not come off until you take it off. You don't even see it. People just think you are great at hanging pictures. And I like that!

Disappointing... 2008-03-31
I had heard that this stuff would help candles stay upright, pictures straight on the walls, etc. So far, I am not impressed with the product. It did help my candles stay upright, but it did not do any better than the previous product I had, which was mediocre. My pictures stay straighter by using "Mahvelous Tape". I wish the museum putty worked better, but it just didn't do well for me.

Very Pleased 2008-02-02
I was glad to find a convenient source for this product at a reasonable price. Was tired looking all over the place. It was sent as promised. Thank you.

Exactly what I needed! 2008-01-21
I'm using this putty to hold down the wooden tracks of my kids' Thomas train set, and it's worked wonderfully! I was so tired of the tracks getting knocked over or bumped out of place, the kids would come crying for me to fix it every few minutes. At the suggestion of a friend, I tried this putty and it's the perfect solution. We putty the tracks and pieces down, the kids can't move them, but an adult can pull the tracks up if needed (so much better than glue, we can change the configuration of the tracks as often as we want this way!).
