It works, but.....
2008-09-28
I ordered 25 of these clocks for my school. Three were damaged in shipping (faces smashed), one had an arm broken off and one is defective. The ones that work (80% of those received) work great and we love them. Returning the broken ones was easy and Amazon was great and replaced them immediately. Now all of our school clocks have exactly the same time - no more tardy excuses!
Deserves ZERO stars

Here's what you get - a clock that doesn't sync to the new day light savings time beginning in 2008; non-existent customer service; and my warranty card was sent back to me stamped "return to sender - address does not exist." and to boot...you won't get your money back. I have purchased about 500 items on Amazon and have been completely satisfied with every purchase - except this one. This clock and this company Suck.
Disappointing atomic clock
2008-07-21
I purchased this very pretty clock and it worked fine for about a month. After that it stopped running. I called tech support and was told the battery I was using, (expiration date 2012) was too old and I should get batteries that say 2015. Then the person told me how to program the clock after putting the new battery in. I followed the directions exactly and the clock ran fine for about another 2 days. I returned the clock and got my money back. I went to a local store and bought a similar clock but a different brand.
Good Clock

How much can I say about a clock? Keeps time well, and found the time on its own, which is the main reason I got it. No complaints so far. Oh, and it's not expensive!
Great product

I have had this clock for over a year and I haven't had anything wrong with it to this day.
Will be a piece of junk after a couple years

I bought a dozen of them and gave them to all my friends for a purpose. Almost all the clocks stopped working when the time was changed in the first week of March. I did all I could do.
still going strong

I've been using mine for several years now. It still works great. I especially like the fact that it ticks quietly enough to keep it in my room. I just bought a cheaper clock for a second room, but am returning it to get another one of these (it was too loud.)
Oh and it's never needed adjusting.
Problem Free Operation in Central Illinois

I ordered a couple of the La Crosse analog clocks. I have read in reviews and in the set up instructions to hang them near a window or on a westerly wall; and that they do not work well in steel framed buildings. I live in a two story steel framed home and I hung one on the first floor on the north east side of my house away from any window, and other in the middle of the house at the top of a central stairway, again no where near a window, and they both synced up to the time signal in less than 5 minutes.
My only thing to note is that it didn't matter how many times I pressed the "Central Time" button, it had no affect on the time setting until after the time signal was found. Which really is not a big deal, except in the manual it says that you can press one of the buttons at any time during the process and it will sync to the correct time zone. It is a minor issue, but something for people to be aware of.
