Editorial Review
Though traditionalists might prefer fixed focal optics, the Nikon Eagle View Zoom binocular offers you the ability to zoom from 8-times to 24-times magnification. Perfectly sized for theater and stadium use, the zoom feature helps you get amazingly close to the subjects your viewing. It really is a cool feature! Zooming up and back is easy and fun. Sharp multicoated optics offer superb contrast and vivid color that, along with BaK4 high-index prisms, provide ultra clear and strain-free viewing. Eye Relief - 13-8.9mm Angle of View - 4.6 degrees at 8X Magnification / Apparent Angle of View - 37.1 degrees at 8X magnification Field of View at 1000mm - 80 degrees at 8X magnification (about 240 feet) Minimum Focus Distance - 13.2' Unit Dimensions (LxW) - 4.6 x 4.3 / Weight - 12.3 ounce Nikon USA 25-Year Limited Warranty

Nikon Binoculars 2007-08-01
The binoculars were purchased as a gift for my son. He has been pleased with the light weight and ease of use. The Nikon Eagleview 8-24x25 zoom binoculars are helpful at sporting events, on walking trails & for bird watching. It was a good gift.

The Product works as advertised, very well. 2007-07-29
Using the Binoculars for general viewing of wildlife they work great. They do need good lighting to perform well. I use the 8X most of the time as the zoom can be shakey unless you hold them up against something to make it steady. Overall very good value for the price and lightweight.

Technology meets user.... 2007-07-26
When I was looking for Binoculars the fist concession I had to make was that I was trying to fill a particurlar need and not looking for an all time intergalactic technical marvel... I'm not sure such a thing actually exists but I can tell you for sure its pretty pricy. But if you ever go driving or camping and say "Wow I wish I had some Binoculars" this is the one I recommend. It is "Quality" by experience and the price will help keep you from feeling the dreaded "expensive paper weight" syndrome when you are not using them...

I Bought Two 2007-05-01
I suppose that I could try to find the rights words to describe these binoculars. Or I could just tell a short story. Our oldest daughter and her husband came for a visit recently. She really loved my binoculars so, hey, she's my daughter and I'm Daddy; I gave them to her. These are not my only binoculars. But I liked them so much I bought a second pair.

Excellent Binoculars, Small Size & Huge Capability 2007-03-18
This small sized Binocular is excellent for those who look for portable Binocular with huge capability and strong materials.

Eagle View Zoom 2008-06-28
I purchased this for my husband for his birthday. I saw all the great reviews and thought this was the one for him! There are two things that bother us. #1 - the zoom button got stuck in the 24 position. Neither one of us could get this moved to another spot. Finally my husband used a quarter to move the button. It was the second time he used it! We are not sure how to fix this if this happens again. Secondly, the strap is missing one piece of small plastic and it means we can not use it. This is very disappointing also. Everything should come ready to use and be able to use it well. Not sure I would do this again.

I highly recommend these binoculars! 2008-05-02
These binoculars are excellent! They are small, light weight, have an amazing zoom control, and they are very affordable. I use my binoculars to view birds and the ever changing nature scenes outside my home. I highly recommend these binoculars. They were by far the best of the many I tried in the store.

good binocular 2008-01-11
If anyone is thinking of purchasing a good binocular for eveyday use this
one will fill the need. the lense is very clear compared to another set I own. It is light and compact and if you are going to have one in the car or carrying with you on vacation to use for the unexpected event this one will be perfect. One other point to mention is the zoom, although 8-10 is the range most people will use the extra range is a bonus for the long distant view. ps it's better to have a set of binoculars that are light and compact, that is not a burden to carry than, a very expensive heavy set that will stay home most of the time i've learned that lesson.

Eagleveiw 2007-12-18
These are very good the only cons are they'r not water proof, and the lens covers arnt any good. The pro's, the glass is clear the zoom is wow! very good, super easy focus, compact size, they do come with a nice case also. I was pleased with my purchase and so will you.

These are quality binoculars 2007-11-21
I have had a number of pairs of binoculars and these are by far the best. I didn't know if the zoom capacity would be sufficient when I ordered the binoculars; but it is more than enough. I have had problems in the past with other binoculars when I try to get just one image rather than two; but these binoculars adjust sufficiently close so that this isn't an issue.

Review: "This Camera is one of the best in its price range. It takes beautiful clear pictures and can be used right out of the box, but its worth learning all its features. The included memory holds about 20-25 pictures so I upgraded to 128mb. I reccomend getting a 128mb card and the Sony camera case. Not only is this one of the best cameras in its class it includes decent software and rechargeable batteries that are at least a 20$ value.
HIGHLY reccomend over canon, kodak, and fuji. One more thing this camera has CARL Zeiss lens (if you dont know, great lens) all the competetors have generic lens."

The fact is a camera’s megapixel rating is only a measure of how many pixels (photosensitive sites) an image sensor has…. An image sensor is simply one component of an entire system that produces a digital photograph… So resist buying into the megapixel hype when you’re choosing a digital camera. From Chapter 1
