Customer Reviews
Completely Satisfied

This device feels like a plastic toy, but it works very well with my XD-Picture cards, which most multi-card readers can't handle. A three foot usb cable is included. Getting the card in and out of the slot wasn't difficult after the first few times. The potentially loose cover isn't an issue with me because I leave the reader plugged into my desktop computer with the usb cable.
excellent bargain!

Needed to replace a broken card reader and this one fit the bill! It works great!
Long-time user

I have had one of these for two or three years and love it. Yes, I lost the cap fairly soon after getting it, but it's never been a problem. I don't travel with it often, and when I do I put it in Zip-Loc bag.
It saves me from having to connect my cameras to the computer to download photos and from having to connect my digital photo frame to load photos for display. I also used it as a data-trasfer device because my SD cards hold more than any of my flash drives.
It has proven to be durable, and inserting and removing the cards is not an issue at all. For the money, you can't beat it.
Seems to work

A little tricky to get it to work at first but otherwise seems to be fine. I definitely needed the adapter that came with my disk.
OK - but won't completely close with an SD card inside
2007-10-18
On the positive side this multi-card reader (RW023-001) is advertised as being able to recognize XD - picture cards and it also recognized the SDHC card that I have, while an earlier model JumpDrive Trio (JDT, rev C) did neither of these things. On the negative side, this newer model did not close completely when an SD card was placed inside of it. It seems some dimensional tolerances are not quite right. I tried several different manufacturer's SD cards. However, the SD card was still able to be read, if firmly seated electrically. It still seemed rather odd that the flip up lid would only partially close but then not slide tight as it did with the JDT model.
Multi Card reader suits all my needs!

Multiple Digital Memory Card Reader Writer / For SD SecureDigital / MMC / xD-PictureCard / Memory Stick / Fits USB 2.0 Slot
One-slot card reader that does everything
2007-07-27
I replaced my lost Lexar multi-card reader with the same model because I couldn't find anything better. It's the only compact, single-slot card reader that I've found that works with every card I use: Memory Stick, SD, SDHC, MMC, and Fuji's xD-Picture. Those constraints make it a little bulky (has to be wide enough for xD, long enough for memory stick) but it's still small enough to carry around in a laptop bag. It's great to know that whatever type of camera your friends have, this gadget can read its card.
It does a good job.

It does what the other reviews have said. The door doesn't close over the larger media types, but it is a very handy device. I would recommend it if you have a lot of media cards and don't like to keep up with a lot of devices.
Handy portable reader

I used to bring CD's with utilities and diagnostic software on them when making a PC repair house call. I got a Lexar jumpdrive trio and started putting this software on flash memory. It fits into a small toolkit which is easy to carry. I Bought this reader to replace the jumpdrive trio I own. It is perfect for memory sticks, but the cover doesn't stay closed when using SD Card. A minor incovenience to be sure, but it cheapens the feel of the product. That notwithstanding, the price makes it a better choice than portable mechanical hard drives which are subject to physical damage in transport.
worth buying
