Better than my classmates Littman

I bought this because of the reviews and I wasn't disappointed. I am a nursing student and most of the class have Littman, mine beats most of them.

There are plenty of cheap stethoscopes out there, but for just a little more, I got stainless steel construction and lots of extras. It works great, as good as the top of the line models for many times more. It actually is a top-performing instrument and will last a lifetime.

The only problem I have is that too many people want to "borrow" it. But I have no problem saying "no."

a good scope

I am a current nursing student and I always had trouble hearing lung sounds and finding my pt.'s PMI using my cheap stethoscope so I decided to buy a better one. I didnt want to spend too much money but i didnt want to invest in something that would eventually need replacing due to poor quality. I was hesitant on this one because it wasn't a littmann but after an hour of research I bought it and I am very happy with my purchace. It is very good I recommend this scope espcially for the price tag!

I don't have much basis for comparison, but it was terrible to try to learn how to take blood pressures with the cheap stethoscope (and I mean cheap and BAD, not just inexpensive) I replaced with this one. This stethoscope was a godsend: clear sound, and now the option of learning how to hear heart murmurs with the other side. Thank you!

Very Good Stethoscope for the money

Being a nurse I've used alot of stethoscope and for the price the Prestige Clinical Cardiology Stethoscope has been my best one yet. I can hear very well with this product. I've had 3 Littman in the past that I was very disappointed in. I knew the Littman Cardiology Stethoscope was good but to pricey so I decided to try this one based on the good reviews. I'm very pleased and would purchase this product again.

I bought this Prestige Clinical Cardiology stethescope because I wanted a good stethescope for a decent price and this doesn't dissapoint. I was a little bit weary and a little bit scared that I would be very dissapointed since this doesn't have the name Littman on it, but dont be afraid to get this. For the price it is such a bargin compared to littman. I used my girlfriends Littman Classic II as a comparison and boy does this stethoscope blow it out of the water. The clarity of this stethoscope compared to the littman is unprecedented. I listened to my dad's murmur with this stethescope and boy could you hear it with such clarity. The volume of this stethescope is also very loud. Dont be afraid to buy this stethescope, with the price and the quality you can't go wrong.

Edit: Also it comes with a pediatric diaphragm that you can easily change so that you can still retain the bell function

Better acoustics and finish quality than the hyped Littmann series.
No reason to overpay for Littmann.
Comparable to Littman Cardiology II series in acoustics but without the high price. Would not be fair to compare acoustics to Littman Classic as it (Littman Classic) is not a binaural stethoscope.
