Perfect!

Allows me to use my device without all the extra cables! Have had no problems with it.
What A Clever Idea

Anyone who uses Microsft Streets & Trips know that the mobile user will not likely have their laptop going with a cable hanging out attached to a reciever that has a suction cup that does not work (due to the design and location of it). This device allowed me to stick my reciever into my Dell Axim, and now I have GPS in a handheld format that works flawlessly. This is a great idea and a great product. Thank You.
Works Great

was not sure this would work in my old dell axim X5.
But It really works great.I use it with tom tom nav5,street and trips as well
as delorme atlas 2007 and works well with all.
I like the tom tom because of address to address tracking.
First one Broke, but mostly my fault

This works great with my Dell Axim X50 and Ostia software. The first one I had broke, but I used to let the Axim hang by the cable so it was mostly my fault that it broke. I bought a new one and now I have a proper holder for the Axim that sticks to the window via a suction cup so I've had no more problems.
Thought it didn't work

Bought the adapter for my Pocket PC; Jornada 540; theoretically not supported by M$ Streets06. It took a while (7 minutes) for the GPS to obtain a fixed signal for the first time, at first I thought it didn't work; I placed it on the windowsill. It detected 2 satellites; I took it around town and it picked up a total of 9 satellites. The more satellites the more accurate it was. Now I cycle the units power and it fixes on 2 satellites within a minute with the unit in the house away from the window; at times the signal drops in the house; signal is always present outside. I'm assuming it needs an initial location the first time; that might explain why it took a while to detect the satellites.

Pharos' CF/PCMCIA Adapter allows you to connect the convertible GPS-360 GPS receiver to any mobile device with a CF Type I slot. Use it for hiking, walking tours or other outdoor activities, as well as for your in-car navigation needs. For added flexibility, use the GPS receiver with the CF extension cable (included) for placement and reception. There is no need for an external antenna! The CompactFlash Adapter will truly let you get the most out of your GPS-360 receiver with it's portability and flexibility.
Works great, but very flimsy

I use the extension cable that came with the adapter to extend the GPS-360 device further down the dashboard. This adapter apparently can't sustain the weight of its own extension cable leaning against the clear plastic cradle. I've only used it twice - first time, it snapped off the back half of the cradle and the second time finished off the front half. The connector sticking out of the adapter still works with the cable, but I'm going to try and super glue the cradle back together before using it again. I don't want the connector to snap off next.
Can't get it to work

Great product to utilize your Microsoft GPS unit into a compact flash slot or your PC slot on a laptop.
Comes with extension cord to attach to a window if the unit isn't in direct view of the sky.
Product works perfectly, would recommend to anyone trying to use this with a Pocket PC
