I bought two of SanDisk SDSDH-2048-901 2 GB Ultra II for my recent trip to France. They were great. I would highly recommend this product.
Memory card worked great 2008-07-01
I bought a Digital Elph camera and this memory card for a vacation, and both worked great. The memory card held a week's worth of pictures and videos, and was fast enough that there wasn't a long pause between successive pictures.

I got this card for my Rebel XTI.I am a beginner in photography. Granted, i have alot to learn, but i read up on this card a good bit. Overall, it does fine. I haven't lost any pictures and it transfers pretty fast. At times though the shutter will be extrememley slow when taking pictures in certain modes. It will eventually take the pic, but still it shouldn't do that. Idk. My advice would be to try the extreme 3 from sandisk.
NEEDS TO BE FORMATTED! 2008-06-24
I purchased this scancard for my daughter's digital camera for an upcoming trip. At first we could not get this SD card to work. Thankfully, I checked it out before she left.
For some reason, it needed to be formatted to the camera. For my camera it would not have been a big deal. For my daughter who had video, saved pics and other info, it was a very big deal. She lost all her stuff. When you format, everything saved goes. She was not a happy person.
However, she was happy that she was able to take many many pics while on vacation and the speed was a lot better. Yet she still complains of her lost videos.
Be careful which SD cards you buy, we did not have to format the last one and I am confused as to why this one needed it. I gave it 4 stars because this 2.0 is fast and makes you happy with the amount of pics that can be taken.

It works fine, sandisk comes highly recommended and I'm happy with them. Family uses the 1GB and 2GB in 8 different cameras and we've never had any trouble.

I've used a pair of these over a year in a Nikon D80, along with a couple 1gb cards. There's never a lag in shooting, and every shot is captured, and the card works well with the SD slot on my laptop. I've since added a pair of 4gb cards that so far work every bit as well. To me Sandisk Ultra is peace of mind.
