Great headset

Sound is perfectly clear. On Skype and WoW I hear everything as clear and broadly spectrum as though I had little bose speakers taped to my head. No one has complained about not being able to hear me or the quality of my voice through the mic.
Only con: the earpieces don't quite cover my ears, and after a 2+ hours if i'm wearing glasses my ears start to hurt.
I recommend it!

After trying other headsets, I find this Plantronics GameComPro1 headset to be the most comfortable on my head delivering very good gaming sound as well as clear mic voice. This is my second set as I sat on the first one that I had. The cord is nice and long and the adjustable mic makes it easy for most size heads.. I believe it is a good value.

I read reviews on 10-12 different headsets. This Plantronics unit seemed to be a good deal, but I was concerned about some reviewer's comments on difficult setup.
I got the headset for my 13 year old daughter to talk to her friends on World of Warcraft which she has been playing for the past two years. When it arrived, she couldn't wait to "plug it in", I told her to wait until I could set it up for her. A few minutes later she told me..."You don't have to do anything...I already have it working". She's happy, I'm happy.
Comfortable and Clear

I bought this headset for my husband for Christmas so I've only been able to use it a few times, but it was easy to set up and he absolutely loves it. It's comfortable the microphone is crystal clear over Ventrillo and the headset itself is really comfortable. Can't go wrong for the price. It seems durable enough but we haven't really had it long enough to say.
Plantronics is a favorite headset brand of ours. I highly recommend you try it!

This headset is very good, the sterio works well and the microphone is very sensitive and responsive. The Mic is also adjustable. It has a volume control and mute control on the wire and you can clip the control to your clothing for quick access. I have been very pleased with this unit and would recommend it for purchase. A very good value for the price.

This is a great headset. I haven't had a chance to test out the mic yet but it is insanely comfortable to wear and it sounds great. I didn't need to install any drivers, it did everything automatically. Unlike many other headsets, the comfort level remains the whole time you wear it (it won't give you a headache after a couple of hours wearing it).
A GREAT headset that sounds and feels great.

After using other headsets for an extended period of time, this headset not only sounds great, but feels great to wear. I use a Mac and it works flawlessly with WoW and Ventrilo and and was very simple to setup. I have also used this to setup and work within GarageBand for recording sound and PodCasts.
Simply stated, a GREAT product!

The GameComPro 1 is a great, mid-range cost headset for PC users seeking to get the most bang for their buck. I have tested it fully with Windows XP and Vista, with the speakers and microphones working well on both systems thanks to the built-in software. I have also confirmed that the sound works in Ubuntu Linux, and though I have not yet tested the microphone, the system was able to detect it.
The sound is excellent, and opponents on multiplayer games commented on how crisp my voice was through the microphone. The headset also works well with Skype and Ventrilo.
As for comfort, this headset does surprisingly well. Having been used to the soft comfort of the ear-enclosing headphones of the Philips SBC HP170, I was impressed that the GameComPro 1's (which do NOT enclose your ears) are able to swivel to accommodate different head shapes. The band connecting the earphones is very flexible and durable - I have ripped the headphones off of my head many times in a rush, but it has not broken or deformed at all. This flexibility allows the headset to sit on your head without pressing in on your ears, which is a problem among many other headsets.
Perhaps the most impressive feature is the ability to rotate the microphone in and out of place, and it will stay locked in any position of that rotation thanks to a high friction coefficient.
This headset is great, and well worth the mid-range cost.
Works great!

Have to admit that I only use this headset for World of Warcraft, both for listening and talking. Works perfectly for that purpose. Voices sound better over the headphones than my expensive speaker system and you can hear everything that people are saying in Vent. Very easy to set up and get running.

I had the previous model of this headset for several years... had no issues with it, except I kept running the cord over with the chair... one too many times it would seem. This one is under a different name and works just as good... audio is great, microphone picks up what it needs. Plugged it in and Windows knew installed the required drivers and I was up and running.
