DeWalt D51238KR 5/8-Inch to 2-Inch 18-Gauge Brad Nailer

It has been a very nice nailer so far
Another great product by DeWalt

This reconditioned brad nailer is half price of a new one and works great. I have shot nails from 5/8" to 2" into softwood trim and 3/4" sheet goods and have never had a problem sinking the heads below the material surface - using 80 psi on the compressor.
nice nailer

Its not often that I use an 18 gauge nailer, so I went with the reconditioned and saved money. It arrived quickly and honestly I cannot see any difference (fit and finish) between it and a new one. I have been installing some beefy crown this week using 2 inch nails and it needs to have the air pressure at 100 or better. About 20% of the time the nails still need countersinking. That's why I rated this a 4 not a 5. I tend to be fussy and dont like to have nails even with the finished surface because it looks like a pimple on the workpiece once it is painted. I would buy this gun again and am happy with my purchase.
