Great Product!

I recently set one of these flea traps out where our kitchen door adjoins my breezeway, which is where our problem was. I catch fleas all day and especially at night. Have had to professionally exterminate our breezeway; but am keeping the little buggers @ bay from going too far into the house by keeping the light positioned at the entry point. Am going to order a couple more for the living room and bedroom, just for extra security! Highly recommend!

Has caught fleas in the short time I have had it, while not many fleas so far, it means less fleas on my dogs.

I bought two of these traps based on the mostly positive reviews of the Victor Ultimat Flea Trap. After a week of use my two traps caught a total of one flea. In fairness to the product I should note that we had already been vacuuming every day for 3-4 weeks. We had also treated our apartment with boric acid and our cats with Frontline. Thus, the Victor Trap may have literally caught our last flea! I think these traps would have been very useful in the early stages of eradicating our flea problem. I'd recommend getting one of these traps and using it in conjunction with intensive vacuuming of carpets, thorough washing and cleaning of things or place where your animals may have sat or slept, treatment with boric acid, and perhaps most importantly using something like Frontline on your cat or dog.

I would highly recommend this. It started working within an hour of setting it up. And yes, it catches other bugs besides fleas. Another great aspect, it also acts as a night light. To get the fleas under control you really need to treat your pets with a well-known flea product, i.e. Advantage, on top of using the Victor Ultimate Flea Trap.
Brilliant! 2006-10-27
I must admit I was very skeptical about this, but decided to give it a try out of sheer desperation, and based on the favorable reviews on Amazon. I've got a flea issue with my bedroom carpet, and have tried sprays, continuous vacuuming, boric acid treatments, and dosing my pet with Frontline & Advantage products. While the Advantage works pretty darn well ON the pet, the carpet was still infested no matter what I tried. I plugged in this little contraption on the floor next to my bed, and within TWO HOURS I've already captured 18 fleas, and can actually SEE them hopping across the carpet to get to the trap! I think this is a brilliant, safe, pesticide-free solution to dealing with those pesky little ankle-biting devils that hide in the carpet! I'll continue to vacuum, but I intend to keep this thing plugged in at all times to grab the ones that get away or are newly hatched. Don't hesitate to buy this product!
Very Pleased 2008-07-14
I have an autoimmune disease and was worried about using chemicals so I decided to try this. I was amazed at the immediate difference! The sticky paper is just about full of dead fleas and my ankle bites have almost stopped. I am going to order another one for the bathroom.
If you worry about chemicals, try this.
Victor Ultimate Flea Trap 2008-04-09
works as advertised and works great. easy to set up, and fleas are drawn right to it, where they get caught and die. we bought three, because we needed one for each area that fleas were localized in. got 'em all.
one point, that should be made clear: this trap just gets the adult fleas; you still need to use another approach (shampoo, combing, etc.) to take care of the eggs and larvae that are on your pet. that is a separate issue; don't expect the Flea Trap to fix everything.

Well, I have had the thing plugged in for 3 days now. One day was spent in my computer room, where 2 fleas were caught overnight. The next 2 days have been in the den, where only one flea was caught. So that brings me to a grand total of 3 fleas. It doesn't seem like a lot, but I'm pretty sure that the flea problem was all but gone anyway (after dousing my cats with Frontline, the fleas have been without a place to reproduce for a few weeks now). In short, this product definately works, how could it not? It's based in the soild fact that fleas are drawn to light and heat. The only thing I would say is that I'm not sure it attracts them from 30 ft away, so try moving it around, and remember that it really works best at night.

Victor Ultimate Flea Trap I bought 2 of them and within 48 hours one was full of dead and captured fleas!! I would highly recommend this item to anyone!
Insect Trap 2007-08-24
Caught some fleas and a whole army of other small insects. I don't think this works well with daylight, but I know it does under the dark. I always leave this thing on overnight, and find new critters in the morning.
