Whether riding a bike, jogging, running or working out, SportWrap allows you to enjoy high quality audio without the skips, bounces and other maladies previously associated with so-called "sport cases." Sportwrap puts the iPod in the ideal place for minimizing shock and vibration while maximizing usability. Your iPod won't get in the way of your exercise, and your exercise doesn't get in the way of your music!SportWrap is made from a durable, water resistant, washable material that breathes and flexes with you. The comfortable armband is adjustable, extremely easy to take on and off, and comes with an extension for larger arms. SportWrap is designed to go on either arm, and is able to hold the iPod in either vertical orientation, for maximum flexibility. The playthrough cover protects the iPod while allowing complete operation of all the iPod functions. There's even a place to store excess earbud cords safely out of the way of moving arms and legs.

Good Buy 2008-01-16
I am a 215 lb man with largish arms and it fits me perfectly. Anyone with small arms may want another product. I love this one. Once I punched a new hole in the top to accommodate my 5th gen. ipod's headphone jack it was a great fit. I can even jam my ipod in there without removing my hard plastic protective case. Keeps the ipod clean, dry, safe, and doesn't slip. What more could you want?

Waste of money! 2007-11-23
This is a terrible armband! I bought it for my dh to use while he works out and it is waaaaay to big the Ipod nano. If you have an older and much bigger mp3 player it might work but if not don't waste your money. I am sending it back.

Great product! 2007-10-31
Very good product! Stays fastend tightly to arm or forearm ! Keeps I pod safe and dry! only problem is the headphone hole is in wrong spot for any of the newer 30 GB I pods!

Comfortable armband for iPod 2007-09-04
This is a comfortable armband. It doesn't close tightly enough for people with small arms, however. It is also not as nice for the newer iPods because the headphones jack is not in the middle top of the iPod.

It comes in at OK. Not amazing, but OK. 2007-08-29
The XtremeMac SportsWrap ArmBand is a descent product, but there are some flaws which would stop me from whole-heartedly recommending it.

Flaws:
- This is a 4th generation iPod product. To make it a fifth generation requires an X-acto knife or other sharp implement.
- The strap is sized for the bicep of the incredible Hulk. A lot of strap is left over after securing it.
- The velcro on said strap is not sewed down well enough to let me cinch the arm band to the appropriate tightness for my Bruce Banner biceps.

Gems:
- Love the full clear surface. Works with both my wife's 3rd generation and my 5.5 generation iPods.
- Feels like the iPod is secure. This my be a bi-product of it's size, I definitely know when it is moving.
- Outside of the arm band velcro, feels well constructed and relatively bomb-proof (gamma or otherwise).

pretty good 2008-06-29
Well for starters the thing that limited this from receiving a 5 star is the fact you have to cut open the headphones jack hole and that sort of limits i say the protection from rain or water splash. Also to boot makes it a tight fit for ur jack to plug n play (considering you didnt make the hole huge and just a small cut)

ASide from that you need to definitely wear a cloth underneath this as it is pretty abrasive against ur skin causing irritation and red marks if worn bare.

Those faults aside its pretty solid and sturdy so far and definitely protects against degrees of water exposure 1st and foremost being ur sweaty arm where its placed cuz this makes it pretty hot where you wear it. ALso yes u can easily scroll and view ur ipod. and it fits all sizes assuming ur not on the extremes of too thin like a 10 year old girl or have 22+ inch arms which in that case not for ur fit unless u wear it on ur forearm regarding the 22+ inch arms comment.

duct for headphone is not placed properly for Ipod Classic 2008-06-02
the duct for plugging in the headphone is at the center, whereas for the IPod classic 80GB i need to plug it in at the right hand corner and there is no way u can do that with this arm band.

not for iPod 5G (video) 2008-03-24
There is nothing wrong with this armband, except that it does not fit the iPod with video (5G), which is what I bought it for. The holes for earphones etc are in the wrong place. I thought it was the correct armband because the apple website says it is a compatible accessory -- it isn't.

Meh, OK I Guess 2008-03-11
It is a comfortable armband with a nice clear face for the ipod. It fits my arm very well. However, there is no hole for my iPod's headphone jack. there are holes in the center which makes it very difficult to plug in. So, I just punched a hole where my headphone jack would go and everything was ok. Who makes an armband for iPods and doesn't include a hole for the headphone jack where it's located on the actual iPod?

it's really good 2008-02-18
it has been a year since i bought.. i was worried about if it was going to fit my arm or not.. but it is really good! i'm using it all the time to go running and it didn't fall.
i don't have a fat arm, but for those who has too thin one i think it won't work.. specially because ipod is heavy.
another note is that it doesn't have a hole for the wire of earphones, so i had to do it with a scissor.
