Editorial Review
Linksys Wireless-G Notebook Adapter with SRX - Linksys has developed new technology that will greatly enhance your wireless networking experience. It's called SRX, or Speed and Range eXpansion. With an optional SRX router you can achieve up to 3 times the range of standard 802.11g, and up to 8 times the speed of standard 802.11g. Using two Wireless-G compatible radios, it overlays the signals to increase the data rate, and uses the signal reflections to increase range. Even your standard Wireless-G and -B equipment will work better when used with SRX devices!

Linksys just doesn't work - support is abysmal 2006-12-30
This Linksys stuff simply doesn't work. And don't try getting technical support - it's a complete waste of time. If you can't Google the solution, just take the stuff back.

The adapter install took out my TCPIP stack, even for my WIRED connection. It took me 3 full days to figure out that I needed to remove any sign of Linksys, Odyssey, and Funk Software from the registry, then remove and reinstall the TCPIP stack. Linksys support couldn't even get me a promised registry cleaner after 28 days, a dozen emails, and 5 separate phone calls.
Linksys support is just embarrassing. Don't be caught having to depend on it.

Poor product, terrible support 2006-08-03
I constantly lose connection with this card while my other Belkin card stays connected. Eventually I decided to get rid of this card and get another Belkin. Funny thing happened! The linksys card can't be uninstalled and it prevents the belkin card from being installed. Nothing happens after I run the uninstaller.

I had to call them. They said they would send me a registry cleaner via email. It never arrived, even though they made repeated promises. I had to make numerous calls and wait in long line to get connected.

I also had bad experiences with a Linksys router. I will never buy a linksys product.

Update: I called them again and again. Finally I was told there was in fact no such cleaner for this model!

Excellent card and very fast! 2005-11-27
This card is well worth the money. Easy to install and very fast at 108 mpbs when used with the linksys srx router. You will need to only use windows xp to configure the card and away you go. Very easy to setup to router and your lan.

Great product! 2005-10-28
I have no problems with this product. The walls in my house are cement and I still get a strong signal at the other end of the house. Works great outside too.

Not for Macs 2005-08-28
My ISP demands Linksys routers, and the Linksys adviser reached by the special number on these pages assured me that it would work with Mac OS X. Not true. I bought it and now I'm stuck with it. Linksys own tech support which is based mostly in SE Asia gave me lots of bad and simply wrong advice, but always said Linksys does NOT support the MacOS. Linksys tech support generally has serious problems understanding andspeaking English. I both live and work in a very diverse environment, and thge Linksyspeople are just waybelow anything remotely acceptable. Pre-N sounds great, but I'll need to try some other brand: Netgear says tghey're compatible. Belkin might be - have looked enough. Bothb are cheaper than Linksys.

Card works great 2008-01-17
This card is my work horse wireless card. Consistently have great signal strength and speed. I have even used the card from my neighbors house which was about 90 feet from the router (SRX200). The signal strength was still 90 per cent plus and the speed fabulous. This is a great PCMCIA card to use with the SRX200 or SRX400 Router.

It does the job. 2007-12-30
This thing has remarkable range and strength. It is very reliable once you get it working (which of course, requires an hour of quality time with our friendly Indian friends).

Excellent Speeds and Distance!! 2007-04-05
my older %$G with speed booster would be low in signal streath throughout my home. This card along with the SRX400 Router gives you 200+ Mps and Excellent signal streanth throughout my home!!

Great Wireless adapter. 2007-04-04
