Great drum, but a little hairy....

This is a great deal and a great sounding drum, however, it must be noted that the drum skin isn't fully smooth. The djembe I got still has hair on the skin. It's as if it wasn't fully shaved or smoothed over, and although you can still hit the drum and get a good sound, the hair pokes your hand and tends to irritate it. Granted it was inexpensive, I would've paid a little extra to have gotten a completely smooth and less hairy drum.
