Unbelieveable!

This product has been wonderful for us! I can not believe how wonderful it works! My son is still using it but he is starting to wake up on his own. I LOVE THIS!

My eleven year old daughter has cerebral palsy. Although she is very smart and can speak just fine, she cannot sit on a toilet without support. We have tried many doctor recommended ways to get her to use the toilet regularly, but none have been effective. She didn't recognize the signs of when she needed to go. The Malem Recordable alarm has worked very well so far. My daughter is sensitive to sound, so the recordable aspect allowed us to record her father's voice - something she is very used to and likes quite a bit. Since she is still wearing diapers, we ordered the additional standard sensor. The sensor instructions state to cut a slit in the diaper to insert the alarm. We did not like that idea. What good is a diaper with a hole in it? What has worked very well has been to cut open a women's mini pad and slide the sensor between its layers. We then attach the mini pad to the diaper using the mini pad's adhesive strip. She has been wearing the alarm for four weeks now. After about two weeks, she has become fairly accurate at realizing when she needs the toilet before the alarm sounds. She loves her alarm and is very proud of herself for using the toilet before the alarm activates. We will eventually tackle the nighttime. She has already gone a few nights completely dry.

This alarm works as advertised and is helping my son stay drier. He has a ways to go yet but without the alarm there would be no progress.

Malem Ultimate Bedwetting Alarm Worked Like a Charm 2006-09-05
After reading many reviews about alarms, and settling on Malem because it seemed to be a quality product, we picked the recordable version to get our six-year-old son excited about using it. We saw improvement almost immediately (staying consistently drier after two nights), and the improvement continued. After a few weeks there was virtually no wetting. I had worried it might be different when he took off the alarm, but he hasn't worn it for weeks. We used the combination of the alarm and random tones. The recordable message wasn't loud enough in the beginning to wake him up.
