Poor quality

Returned this item shortly after receiving it because several of the plates used to display the day were warped. As they would flip down to display the next day of the week they would stick half way and stay there until three or four more days would pass and the weight of these additional plates would force the warped one down. Pretty pathetic when you think about it. Indicates the simplest of quality control measures are ignored by the manufacturer.

Asked the distributor for an exchange, and was told they have received too many complaints similar to ours, so are discontinuing the product. They would issue a credit instead.

Too bad. I liked the design of this product, but it could not perform basic functions.

Great for the absent minded person.

I purchased this clock for my 89-year old mother. We was always asking what day or time it was, and now she can see the day, date, and time from across the room.

Clock was defective.

My 82 year old mother has a severe memory problem and sometimes has a problem with what day of the week it is. We thought that this clock would be the answer for her. Unfortunately, the clock was defective. We were going to exchange it for another clock and the company told us that they have had many problems with the clock. Just a big disappointment.

A very useful product

My mother is in an Assisted Living Residence, and was having a problem keeping track of dates due to her Dementia. She was crossing off too many days on her paper calendar each day, so she was getting weeks ahead of the correct date. I bought this electric calendar for her. It is easy to see from across the room, and she now can check on the correct day and date, as well as see the clock.Reizen Auto Calendar Clock

Perfect for mother with memory loss

I purchased this for my older mother who frequently forgets what day it is and has a hard time reading smaller clocks. She loves it! She is less confused and can manage her own schedule again. The clock does make a loud noise when the date changes (around midnight), so it may not be appropriate for a bedroom.

best calendar/clock I could find

My mother in law suffers from dementia and can't tell what day it is. I was hoping to find her an electronic calendar with an LCD display but none of this is available. The Reizen Auto Calenadar Clock is the best I could find, easy to use and it does the trick. On the negative side, it is quite bulky, all mechanical and somewhat expensive.

It would have been helpful if the product description for this item had included the product dimensions and weight. I didn't realize it was so large!!

My mother in assisted living has great trouble with dates and times - this clock has made a HUGE difference. I has worked great. Get one.
