tuff flooring nails

Bought these when I purchased the Hardcore Tools® Pneumatic 2 in 1 Flooring Cleat Nailer / Stapler HARDWOOD FLOORING 1-1/2-Inch to 2-Inch. This came up as a recommendation from Amazon when I went to check out. They work just great in this tool. You can also use the Bosstitch(sp)nails, but these work perfect. Great price too. I got the box of 5000qty. You might not need this much, but if you do, you wont be dissappointed.

Spend a little more

These staples kept jamming in the flooring stapler that I purchased. I switched to some leftover Bostich staples and had 90% fewer jams. Spend a little more money, save a lot in aggravation. I read a review on these staples after I bought them. Should have seen it coming!

Horrible - Please Read

I recently purchased them and they stink. While they may look the same as other staples these are softer and will often curl and not fasten. I was laying red oak into wafer board underlayement. I found they would penetrate the hardwood then curl like pretzel before penetrating the underlayment. Do not buy these - Remember I told you so.

Good Staples at a good price

Had them in a few days and they worked just fine in my Floor Stapler installing my hardwood floors (5/8" prefinished Bamboo). They are as good as any you would buy at the hardware/HomeDepot, at about 1/2 the price. But make sure you really will use that many staples, 5000 covers a lot of square feet!

Beware....cannot be used with the Grizzly floor 'nailer'!

These staples worked great when we put in hardwood floors - both 3/4" Brazilian Walnut (a VERY hard wood!) and Australian Cypress. The only problem is that they are shown with a Grizzly floor 'nailer' that ONLY uses nails. So, after buying both the nailer and these staples, we had to go ahead and buy another flooring gun that used these staples. We contacted Grizzly and they said they didn't know why the two products were being shown together on Amazon.

The 2inch staples are just the ticket for putting down hardwood floors.
I have checked around and they are a very good value. there were no problems with the gun i used them in.
