Sold it after 4 weeks

This mattress really stinks - in all ways. After 4 weeks of use it still smelled like a chemical factory. Then the foam - I think this is a cheap knock-off. First it is so hard and uncomfortable that my back pain got even worse, and then after 4 weeks the memory foam starts to loose its "memory". Now it's more like sleeping on a normal foam mattress, with the challenge not to roll in the "hole with the lost memory". The return policy is a kind of catch 22. You can return the product, but if you do the math you figure out that it is better to keep it, as the shipping fee is horrendous and it is almost impossible to find a company willing to ship it. Remember, once you open the package, the mattress kind of inflates, so there is no way to ship it in the same way you received it, unless you have a big vacuum machine. And finally there is the restocking fee. Well, if you want to do your self a favor, spend some more bucks and go to your nearest mattress store.

I am so sorry I purchased this mattress. I used to own a Tempurpedic, and was very happy with it. Since then I moved and had to leave it behind. I saw all the positive reviews and thought, "Why not, this is so much cheaper."
The mattress is very hard, doesn't conform to the body well and absolutely WREAKS of chemicals, and I have a poor sense of smell. A total waste of money.
Now I have to figure out how to get rid of it.
Great product, great deal, everything it is touted to be..

I must say I was a little apprehensive about buying a mattress without trying it out first, esp for a mattress that is supposed to be a competing product for Tempur-pedics at 1/4th the prices. Such deals usually turn out to be too good to be true. Either it is a scam, or you get a decidedly inferior product.
However, after reading a string of positive (even glowing!) reviews here, I thought I'd give it a try. Turns out to be one of my best purchases for the year.
The bed is a high quality product, nice finish, well packaged -- the description and the reviews here are every bit accurate. It is indeed 5" 5lb memory foam, a little bit firmer compared to tempurs (which I actually like), and the mattress curls around your body giving you a uniform support all along your body, with no abrupt pressure points. Very much like the tempurs I tried out in a store, but at a fraction of the cost. I'd say, a very good substitute and gives no reason to pay such premium for tempurs.
The best part, and the bottomline, is that all this techno-geek (multi-layer, various foam technologies, ILD rating, foam density etc) REALLY DOES give you a very comfortable night's sleep. I don't wake up in the middle of the night like I used to, wake up refreshed, and with absolutely no pain anywhere because of the balanced support. Given that one third of your life is spent on the bed, this has been one of the most significant increases in my quality of life lately. For $500, I'd gladly do it again for a similar increase.:)
This is the future of beds and in a few years, people will look at spring ones like they are some relics from the past.
I highly recommend it for this price. (You might actually find a better deal from their ebay store -- completesleepshop or some such is the store name). Consider it as one more vote of confidence if you are apprehensive like me before buying. Reviews from others here definitely helped me get over my fears, and this is my way of thanking them.
Bottomline: this is a real deal, a great product for a great price. Highly recommended.
VERY HAPPY WITH THIS ITEM 2007-05-17
The shipping for this item was VERY fast and the communication from the company was great.There was a slight smell from the mattress but it was not bad at all and certainly gone within a day or two.This was for my sons bed and he LOVES it, saying that it molds to his body and is very comfortable.Overall we are very happy with this mattress and would recommend it.
WORTHY SEARCH AND RESEARCH 2007-05-14
AFTER A MONTH OF USE, IT HAS DEMONSTRATED TO BE OF HIGH QUALITY. IT HAS EXPANDED TO ITS FULL 12" AND HAS NOT LOST ITS SHAPE. FULL NIGHT SLEEPS AFTER SO MANY LOST NIGHTS. THE PRICE IS EXCEPTIONAL AND AFFORDABLE. A LONG AWAITED ITEM, SEARCHED AND RESEARCHED FOR A LONG TIME. WORTHY OF MENTIONING. COMPARED TO MANY OPTIONS THIS ONE IS THE BEST. I WOULD ENCOURAGE ALL TO BUY IT WITHOUT HESITATION.

Great product and very comfortable. For easier moving within your home be sure to have the mattress where it will be used before opening packaging. It does expand tremendously.
UH OH!!! ONLY 10% MEMORY FOAM???!?!?! 2007-12-29
We were very happy with this mattress at first (we bought the 10 inch), however, after about 2 years, it started sagging VERY VERY badly. It has also lost a huge amount of its' pile.
The worst thing is that when we opened up the fabric zip cover (very nice feature) to wash it for the first time, we found that the "memory foam mattress" was only about ONE INCH OF MEMORY FOAM ON TOP over SOME OTHER CHEAP REGULAR FOAM!!!!!!! It really just looks like a memory foam topper that we could have bought at a superstore. WE COULD HAVE BOUGHT A MEMORY FOAM TOPPER FOR MUCH CHEAPER THAN THAT!!! WE FELT DUPED! I will update this review when we complete our warranty usage attempt.
do not buy..you get what you pay 2007-11-25
I am putting the review about the product after using it for more than 2 years. It was great and firm in the begining but after 2 years it's really gone bad. I could not even sit on the mattress anymore they just swollow me and I am not a big person (165 lbs). I also own tempurpedic for my own bedroom and have had it for more than 4 years. It's still the same as it was day 1. This I bought for the guest room but am very disappointed that it did not even last for 6-7 years. It wasn't very cheap either, so be careful before you buy.
Foam mattress 2007-11-04
This product is great....my husband and I have never slept better. It conforms to your body and there is no bouncing of bed on partners side when you move at night. Also, no need for pillows when on your belly. Great buy!!

I have now been sleeping on this mattress for about two months. I want to say first off that I'm very satisfied with my purchase and truly enjoy sleeping on this mattress. I relied heavily on the customer reviews prior to purchasing this mattress, so I wanted to share my own experience.
First of all, shipping was very fast. I live in GA and received the mattress within a week's time. I was concerned about the possible odor that I had read about in other reviews, so I purchased some Febreze in advance which I ended up not even using because there was absolutely no odor whatsoever!
It did take me a bit of time to get used to the mattress. I have lower back problems and I was really hoping that this mattress might help. The first few days this mattress seemed to squeeze my insides together. I would have painful breathing from time to time ~ it is difficult to describe but I knew it must be the mattress. Also, it did not at first help my back. In fact, after the first night I had a pretty bad back morning. BUT, my body was completely used to the mattress by the end of the first week and, even though I still experience back problems, this mattress has definitely proved to be a far better mattress for my back than the one I had been sleeping on. It is different from a conventional mattress, lacking any "spring." It felt odd at first, but now it just feels very comfortable.
