Best Lifting Gloves for Women

These are absolutely THE BEST lifting gloves for women. The fingers are longer than any other gloves out there. Love that!! The leather is soft, eliminating the need to "break them in." The padding is enough to protect your hand without sacrificing the feel of the bar. Only criticism is the funky orangy color, but these gloves aren't about fashion.
Remember when you order, these are sized and proportioned for a woman's hand and not a man's. I wear a size 5 ring and wear these gloves in a medium.

This is the 3rd pair of Valeo Ocelot weight lifting gloves that I've owned. They're the most comfortable ones I've tried, and obvious from the repeat purchases, I think they're great. The reason I gave them 4 rather than 5 stars is because the 2nd pair lasted only a few months before literally coming apart at the seams. The first pair lasted a few years and the ones I have now seem to be holding up well.
Be aware though: when you wash them, their color leaks. Either hand wash them or wash them alone.

So far, so good. I've had these gloves for 2 weeks and am so happy to have finally found a pair of well-padded gloves that fit a woman's hand. It slips on easily due to the cut of the glove and secures nicely with the velcro. It would've been nice to have this in black, but I'm willing to sacrifice looks for function. I've already ordered a second pair...

I purchased my gloves based on the reviews and Im glad I did.
I found them to be a bit small I think the next size up would have been to big. they have great cushioning in them, I would recomend them for the price. I have others that I paid twice as much for and the valeo are of the same quality.
Comfort and function 2008-03-22
The Ocelot gloves were comfortable and broken in from the moment I put them on. They are also easy to put on and take off with the velcro wrist flap.

These gloves fit well for a small hand, but they need more pading. I was disappointed in how thin they were.

I have used them for years and like the extended fingers and padded palms. Tough to find in the retail store.

Ihad bought these from sports authority before but now they don't sell them anymore so Ifound them at amazon oh was I happy because Ilike these so much when I work out they are so comfortable just they can sometimes stain brown color to your hand if you sweat a lot but I ignore that cause wash the hands comes off the stain!!!
Ocelot Lifting Gloves - Small 2007-01-05
The two pair of gloves I ordered replaced another pair that I purchased in September of 2006. I used them 6 hours a week and washed them once a week, sometimes two. They are extremely comfortable when using weights and wrap the wrist snugly. They lasted over a year, with the wrist band on one of them finally ripping. Compared to others I've had these are well made and you get what you pay for.

I have been using Valeo gloves for years, and I think that they are the best in the market. The Ocelot are particularly nice. These gloves are durable, comfortable, and have a grip like nobody's business.
The problem with many workout gloves is that a lot of them are hard as carboard when new and it takes a while to "break them in." Not Valeos. My Ocelot gloves were nice and supple from day one and I just don't like working out with anything else. I highly recommend them.
