Works great but room for improvement

I need the ability to operate my MP3 player remotely because I use it mainly while jogging and motorcycling, activities in which I have the player tucked away and the controls not easily accessible. I have no problems with the functioning of the remote and I love it for that reason. However, the mechanism is so tiny that the markings are hard to see, and the clip is so small that its use is limited. You can't clip it onto a heavy jacket, or even a thick elastic waistband. If you clip it onto thin material such as a tee-shirt, it can come off more easily than it should. Also, now that I have been using it for almost a year, the sound cuts on and off when the wire moves. Creative should be able to come up with a better design and a heavier-duty clip and wires.

I purchased this remote for my Creative Zen Vision:M 30GB and it works great! This is NOT just for the Zen Micro.
The remote is very tiny and has a long cord. The combined length of the remote + headphones may make the setup easy to snag on things, but a simply twist tie should fix that.
You can read the product info to find out what features this has, but I just wanted to add that the remote appears to be built very well. A nice clamp on the back (made of metal, not plastic) allows you to hook the remote onto a belt or clamp it onto a shirt. Very handy.
This is the perfect option to combine with a protective case and protective skin (BSE, etc) if you want to protect your investment on the go.
Why not 5 stars? The remote for my MiniDisk player, purchased about 6 years ago, did all of this but also displayed track info on a tiny LCD screen. If Sharp could do that half a decade ago, I'm not sure why modern products don't have it. To be fair though, the connector for that remote wasn't as tiny as this one..
