Don't Buy

I know bluetooth headsets are a personal preference. This one looks nice but the sound and the fit are poor. I have owned 5+ headsets and this was one of the worst. I now have a Plantronic and both the sound and fit are great.

keeps losing sync so i have to resetup the thing with my treo all the time.. weird as they are made by the same firm.. very frustrating.

Palm 3206WW Bluetooth Headset
Having tried several different headsets, this one works best with the Treo 650. Still not great but fairly good. Static occurs any time it is not in direct line of sight. Even putting the Treo on my belt is enough to cause static. Oh well, it's the best out of 4.

I purchased this when my headset jack broke on my Treo 650. Washington state will soon require handsfree calls while driving so I needed something and went with the same manufacturer for compatibility since some bluetooth devices can be a pain to set up. Sound quality is good enough - I must say that I am not very particular about things like this and that I only use it in my car or when it is close to my phone and "latches" on to a call.
Convenience Trumps All! 2007-07-17
It's not the fanciest or prettiest bluetooth headset out there, nor is it the fullest featured. And I wish it (a) went louder, and (b) stayed loud by default.
But the best thing about it only comes to those who use Palm Treo phones (650 through 700, and I suspect others but I'm not as sure). You see, if uses the same power connector as the Treo, so you only need one power cord to charge up both (not at the same time, of course). If you don't have a spare charger for your phone, this essentially gives you one for free. Keep one at home and one at the office!
Having one less charger in my car, and one less wall wart plugged into a power strip at home, totally makes this a *great* headset for Treo owners like me.
Free with Treo 650p 2008-06-13
This earpiece was included in the box for free with my new 650p that I bought back in 2005. I wasn't impressed by it by any means and actually leave it in my glove box as a emergency back up. When I rush out and leave my preferred earpiece, I go back and get it if I'm not too far away. But if it's too late to turn around, I reluctantly pull out this one to use ONLY if I must but can't wait to get home to change it! I REALLY do not like this cheap earpiece. Hmph, that's why it was free. N e ways, I do not care for the "on the ear" design. I am one that prefers the "in the ear" earpiece. If that were the design for this unit, MAYBE I would use it. Because its a on ear unit, and the sound quality sucks, you can barely hear the caller on the other end no matter how you adjust it. It is not comfortable at all to wear because you have to clamp it tight on your ear if you want to hear your caller. I wouldn't have this unit if it were not given to me. Its just not a product that I would recommend to anyone, sorry.
easy to use 2008-06-09
the biggest convenience is that it uses the same power cord as your treo. it's easy to use since you just push one button for everything. There was no problems in setting it up and no complaints from my friends about hearing interference. It just works.
Two Defective Devices Shipped - Problem Here 2008-03-14
I have used this headset with for several years with my Treo 650. Liked it enough that I ordered additional as backup. Headset would not charge. (Old headset charged w/ new charger. New headset would NOT charge w/ old charger - so no doubt it was defective.) Amazon quickly replaced - and EXACT issue again - headset would not charge.
If you do NOT have a Treo PDA - consider the Motorola Bluetooth Headset H700. Got it fom Amazon for almost HALF what the Treo cost - and much better device. (check vendor reviews when you purchase - it took 13 days to arrive). Treo Smart Phone users - Treo Bluetooth does not always work with other devices. I couldn't use Motorola w/ my 650

We have this item for months now and this is wonderful.
We accidentally put it into washer and dryer...We thought it would not make it for sure. You know what it works wonderfully! It is clear and problem free!! We highly recommend this product! Busy Dad & Mom.
Finally a Treo Bluetooth Headset 2008-02-14
Finally I found a Treo Bluetooth Headset. I can charge it using the same charger of my Treo Smart phone. It is ok for me, good sound and quality.
