MY WIFE AND I HAVE WATCHED THIS 3 TIMES ALREADY AND LEARN SOMRTHING NEW EACH TIME. IF YOU ARE A SURVIVOR FAN OR IF YOU JUST LIKE GOOD ENTERTAINMENT I WOULD RECOMENND YOU BUY THIS DVD SET.

The Best

My favorite part of the season was when Jeff Probst announced that Tina won. But all the way I was cheering for Rodger and Elizabeth. I also liked Kimmi. Mike said that Kimmi had a dirt line instead of a tan line. One of the saddest moments in Survivor history was in Ep:6 when Mike fell into the fire and had to leave the game. On the other tribe (Ogakor) I wanted Tina or Marylin to make it far. I also thought that Colby was cool too. Here is the order the people were voted out in: 1.Debb 2.Kel 3.Marylin 4.Mitchell 5.Kimmi 6.(pulled out because he fell in the fire) Mike 7.Jeff 8.Alicia 9.Jerri 10.Nick 11.Amber 12.Rodger 13.Elizabeth 3rd place: Keith Runner-up: Colby Winner: Tina.

This season was in my opinion ONE of the most enjoyable, along with Pearl Islands and Guatemala. Whilst it did not display a great deal of the strategics, which I love to watch, the cast was lovable and so much happened in the outback, without the producers having to lift a finger!

However, i must say, in terms of the special features, i was very disappointed. The documentaries were quite boring, and although the audio commentaries were great, they were only available for a few of the episodes.

THE BEST SEASON OF SURVIOR SERIES

I am a Survivor fan from the first season and have watched every season of the show. I just watched The Outback again and it was as compelling as the first time I saw it.
This season had it all and ended with no animosity. The game was played beautifully and was a true toss up for the sole survivor.
If you are going to watch just one season of Survivor to get the true feeling and intention of the game this is the season to watch.

Excellent DVD

I would recommend this DVD over and over. As a HUGE Survivor fan watching the past episodes on DVD are great fun. I would recommend buying this DVD.

Never disappoints

Survivor never disappoints me. I have been a fan since day 1, but my younger niece just started watching it. Season 2, The Australian Outback was one of my all time favorites and this way I get to share it with a new fan. And it was a great Christmas gift.

One of the best seasons ever

I loved "Survivor, The Australian Outback". It had the best cast and most interesting location. The trials and tribulations these people went through was so interesting and heart-wrenching at times. It was nice to watch it after watching so many Survivor seasons set in tropical locations.

I love the Survivor's. To outplay, outwit, outlast, it's amazing to watch each episode as someone new gets voted off. I have my personal favorites of who should not be cast off, always. But as they say the people who make it to the final two deserve to be there because they played the game better than everyone else.
